The location of the property is perfect in La Gaulette. We were a 5-minute walk from a grocery store, excellent restaurant, small cafe, and ATM. The studio apartment had everything you need in the kitchen and made it really easy for us to cook most of our meals (pots, pans, bowls, plates, cutlery, kettle, coffee machine, bread board, cups, mugs, wine glasses, etc). The studio is extremely spacious and the AC was glorious! The bed is huge with bedside plugs. The bathroom is large. We were very impressed with our stay and were able to have questions answered by our host very easily. We rented a car and were also able to park it on the property inside the gate which was comforting. 10/10 LOVE this place!

Close to Le Morne and other attractions and places worth visiting, 90 min drive to Port Louis. Island is a paradise for botanical enthusiasts, hikers, climbers, fans of all sorts of water sports and beautiful reef fish, encounters with whales, dolphins etc.very friendly lovely locals and I felt very safe at all times, safer than in European many places. Please do book with local people, not all inclusive international resorts without local feel.

The clear water at the beach was exelent. The clearest seewater I have seen on the hole island! The surounding with the mountains are great. The beach is clean. No waist is liing around. not a typical tourist destination. However, great spot for trips and quiet place to chill before trips around the island - which is pretty easy to travel around. Great choice for families and backpackers like myself

Great location to discover southern part of the island. Close to many beautiful beaches, on many of them you feel like a private only for you. The underwater life could be better - large amount of bleached and dead corals in the lagoons. The village itself is nothing interesting, it doesn't even have its own beach. It's just a busy long road. But it has an ideal location with regard to the nearby beach and Le Morne mountain, the waterfall and natural attractions in Chamarel, or the Casela World of Adventures. Further south beyond Le Morne there are also some very nice beaches.

Much more peaceful that surrounding areas, and not at all overcrowded. Good supermarket. No petrol station, nearest is Tamarin. Much cooler than up north but not as comfortable as the east. Very good choice, all in all.

It is located literally next to the supermaket and restaurant serving really good burgers and seafood. Close to Le Morne mountain and Le Morne beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius. As well as close to Chamarel Rumerie and Seven coloured world. It's not a tourist area, however, if you want quite place with awesome place to chill, it's great place to be. Looking forward to come back again. The kitchen is small but well equipped, the housekeepeer comes every day to clean and make the room, as long as the pool guy and the gardenerer better than a 5 star service. Great value for money. The blue peal villa was amazing , very comfy and well equipped for a little heavenly retreat on the coast of Mauritius . The pool was amazing and clean , the bbq is perfect for a sunday with friends or family around the grass pool beach with confortable couch , chairs and beach sofa . It was an awesome relaxing weekend and i guess i would have experience the same satisfaction at the Blue Lagoon villa as they have the same lovely guess .

In my opinion, best beach on the island - Le Morne is only 10 min driving. Apartement was clean, spacious and well equiped. Stunning terace with view. Staff was really friendly and kind.
