The property is just off the main coastal road. It is in a quiet spot and directly on the edge of the bay. The gardens are very well kept. The pool is stunning. However, the reception area and several of the guest rooms really need an uplift.

The quiet location, set off the main road, was perfect. Close to grand baie but also 5 minutes to lovely pereybere beach. Some lovely little local restaurants on the main road. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool and gardens are the highlight. Tropical gardens and so peaceful. You can book a massage at the spa which was fantastic! Breakfast is very good, lots of beautiful fresh fruit and choice of eggs and bacon, pancakes and toast. The honesty bar is a nice touch. But the staff make this place. Judy was delightful and chatted every morning, making sure every guest felt welcomed. She is a credit to the guesthouse. However, all the staff were friendly, from the managers to the security guards. Staying in a small guest house gives you the opportunity to mix with local people and feel as if you are in a Mauritian home. Highly recommended.

The apartment was very nice and so centrally located. But even better, the lady Isabella, who helped us with our check-in and other needs, were so professional and friendly giving us info about the culture, shopping hours, where to eat, etc. The host ,Saad, is just so wonderful and was such a gracious host. Anyone will love this place. Thank you, Saad and Isabella. P.s. Just note the apartment on the 2nd floor (if you have trouble walking/ have an impairment) and there is no lift, but it was good exercise for us. You will not regret staying here. We will definitely be coming again

Not the best part of the Island for a family holiday - if you are looking for the best beach area head for the South West. Perebere is an excellent location for SCUBA Diving. Loads of Dive Centers and loads of nice Dive Sites. You definately need a hire car if you are going to base yourself here.

Overall Pereybere is an excellent place to stay.
Overall Pereybere is an excellent place to stay. We found the lush green trees and grass and the sandy beaches a wonderful place for walking strolling and even on the evening. It was just a cool warm air that was nice to walk. The local people were friendly and public transport you can get around Pereybere and enjoy the different restaurants with the different foods. It was lovely and amazing place to stay the apartment in which we stayed in was lovely and the beach being around the corner was an excellent choice that we made great place lovely food lovely people . Amazing! I would recommend that you try the seeing the dolphins and the buggy rides as well as visit in the other islands by boat.AngelaUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

Pereybere is great if you are a beach person but does not have enough restaurants & bars in terms of variety and some are really overpriced, for example WANG THAI restaurant - also very snobbish staff ... A quaint little place with limited amenities in close walking distance. Paddling and canoeing can be arranged at the public beach and several food trucks are available with a different selection of local foods. There are several diving centre agencies along the main road to chose from. We found a supermarket called ‘Winners’ approximately 250m from the public beach which was well stocked, with friendly and helpful staff. We popped in several times during our stay. Fresh baguettes and finely shaved ham were our favourite.

At least some restaurants and bars in Pereybere and Grand Bay accepted AMEX and other cards. Property was right opposite Pereybere public beach and next door to a restaurant. The supermarket WINNERS was about a 5 minute walk away and we used it almost every day.
