Great location and gorgeous views from the tree houses. The rooms have a lovely, stylish design. I personally didn't mind it but it is not for the faint hearted as whenever it gets windy, you can definitely feel it in the tree houses. The staff were helpful and chatty. There is a supermarket right next door and some lovely private beaches just opposite. The houses themselves are very cute but also a bit of a novelty item so if you're looking for a fancy hotel level of comfort, this might not meet your needs. However, for our stay of few nights, it was great and I would recommend it just for the sake of that gorgeous jungle view.
Offering charming suites, Hotel Uolis Nah is located in the centre of Tulum and 10 minutes’ drive from the nearest beaches.

Swimming in warm, clear water that is usually swimmable or floatable on most days for most swimmers is delightful. Sea bird watching is always very rewarding while on the beach. And, the food is sensational.

Beaches are spectacular, we rented e bikes which were a godsend as we were staying outside the beach area. The military presence was a bit intimidating and Tulum town is nothing special. I probably wouldn't go back and we were sorry that we didn't spend half our time in Playa del Carmen just for a change of scenery. We liked the beach bar Planca.

The beach is beautiful, Santa Fe is free of beach bars so you only pay the £2 or so to get onto the beach not the beach cafe lot. Not allowed plastic bottles on the beach so will be charged £5 for a can of water once there if you don’t take a reusable bottle! . Cenotes are beautifull and all different so worth visiting a few. The ruins are great, arrive early though it gets hot and super busy.
The ADO coaches are great value to get from the airport and around generally (to Valladolid, Bacalar). You can use busbud app to arrange before or get off the plane and head for the ADO shopfront in the airport.
Pay for everything in cash or you’ll get scammed - everyone I spoke to had this happen at least once. They say your card hasn’t gone through and keep charging you; this is beach bars, cafes, shops and taxis. Rent a bike or get a bus as taxis aren’t regulated and ridiculously expensive!
It felt very safe and is a lovely place, shame tourists are so openly scammed cause it does make you wary of returning! Local people are so lovely and friendly, not everyone speaks English but I think that’s great! Overall amazing place highly recommend :)

Tulum is very rustic which may appeal to some people however I considered it far too expensive for the facilities offered. We hired a rental car to get to our hotel and to get around and see some of the Cenotes but to be honest I would not bother going to Tulum again. We stayed in Cancun at an all inclusive resort for the same price as our stay in Tulum where drinks and meals were super expensive. And for the cost of the rental car we could have taken tours from Cancun to see the same things.
Also note the water is not drinkable in Tulum!

I call customer care of booking for help and even property but end of staying there with not working air conditioner and bad smell water so it was not a good stay . Property owner canceled my last day stay and refund the money. But i would not recommend the property. The location which is mentioned on the booking site is not correct. No one is at reception for help and no room service.
Loved how small and peaceful NEST was. We stayed in one of the tower rooms - beautiful, romantic, chic, quiet, nice hot water in shower, comfortable bed and pillows, two balconies, strong AC available at any time. What more could you ask for?
It’s on the better end of Tulum Beach in my opinion, calmer than the main party zone with easy access to anything you could want - shops, restaurants, bars.
Fantastic, welcoming staff. We were waited on hand and foot. Excellent breakfast - try the ranchero egg breakfast and the fresh fruit plate.
Amazing turquise ocean view from your private pool in the middle of the jungle, priceless. We felt like in a hidden paradise. So peaceful, quiet and private. The apartment itself is big enough as well, we love spacious flats (not a 15 nm hotel room), we could imagine to even live here for a couple of months. If you want to feel yourself like people in a luxury travel magazine cover, this is definitely your place. much better than staying in Tulum, here were NO seaweed, compared to Tulums beaches where the smell was horrible.
Excellent remodeled hotel in the heart of Tulum. Nicely styled rooms and very comfortable beds. Superb for the price point.
The common area kitchen was great for a quick meal or just gathering to socialize. I was able to meet other travelers as well as the owner in this space. Huge plus.
Only a 5 minute walk from the main ADO bus station in Tulum.
Very safe property. A big plus was the keyless entry into the rooms! Many hotels in Mexico give you a key with chain larger than your phone.. it is awful to deal with.
We loved the place. The last few hotels I've stayed in, it had a feel like regular hotels (standard Marriott type places). In walks Na'ala Tulum. It has a vibe that's specific to México. From the cool open air lobby, to the atmosphere (there was a live band randomly one night and another night hosted a live DJ at the pool). The shower was spacious. The balcony was nice for sitting. And the location was great! Right smack in the middle of things.
This hotel is beautiful!! The rooms are right at the beach, the whole hotel has a very rustic vibe which goes well with Tulum.
This hotel is not in the middle of the city like others have already mentioned. To go to the city of Tulum we paid closed to $55 dolars each way which is kind of expensive.
The staff is super friendly and accommodating.
The food was one of the best we had during our entire trip. Great variety, flavorful fresh stuff.
Loved our stay at Bardo… I feel like we are well travelled and have stayed a some of the finest hotels around the world, and Hotel Bardo is one of our favorite boutique hotels. The whole atmosphere is calming and relaxing and is a paradise within the city. Their entire team was awesome and attentive, and the complimentary yoga (instructors are paid only by your tips) was fantastic - 2 of the best yoga sessions we’ve ever experienced.
It's a lovely smallish boutique hotel with large, spotlessly clean, modern rooms and public spaces. They serve an excellent breakfast. The wifi is good and the best hotel shower I have had in Mexico. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful - the lady at breakfast (didn't get her name) and Daniel and Kevin on reception. Kevin is an absolute star - very helpful and gave me brilliant advice on bicycle rentals and sports bars.
- Warm and gracious hospitality
- Charming ambiance of a beautiful little home like hotel
- Attention to detail evident in the design of the room, like the ceramic sink
- traditional art in the room
- Inviting seating areas in the well-cared-for garden
- Charming hotel
- Proximity to the ATO bus station for convenient transportation options to other places and colectivo or taxi available otherwise if needed in Tulum
Located right in the action of Tulum beach, close to a lot of bars/ restaurants/ beach clubs/ convenience stores/ shopping, etc. Property was very very cute with a shaded pool and a beach lounge. Cabanas were spacious and clean, boutique-style and adorable. Staff were all so sweet and accommodating. Breakfast on the beach every morning with fresh juice and sweet bread was such a luxury. I have no notes!
Amazing stay, we especially enjoyed the apartment at Zereno - spacious, new and stylish. The location is convenient, the place is in the newly built area and is not too far from the beach nor the main street of Tulum. The staff at the hotel are amazing - Joel and Daniel made our stay so much better: they were super helpful with our needs - arranging us rental bikes, helping us with any questions.
I liked everything. I have stayed in Mexico for 3 weeks (also 2 other hotels in Tulum) and this was without a doubt the best experience with the hotel I ever had. I so so so recommended this place. I need to mention also the reception stuff who is 10 out of 10 in hospitality and making you feel welcome.
btw I recommend the room with netting and view over the jungel🤩 something to wake up to☀️
Absolutely gorgeous hotel with wonderful restaurants, beautiful amenities including the gym and pools everywhere. The rooms are modern, spacious with Tulum design. Exceptional service and incredible beach club experience. The beach club is very trendy the staff is very helpful! I wish we could have stayed longer. Nice activities during the day such as yoga and aqua aerobics.
Staff were amazing, every single member of the team we met were really nice and helpful. Had the best stay: great facilities, comfortable bed, cool decor and great people. Highly recommend (I’ll return if I’m in Tulum again). Location is awesome too, just off the main strip in central Tulum and easy to cycle or get a collectivo to the beach or hotel zone
Very new facility, extraordinary architekture of the hotel, located in a brand new spot. Felt like a brand new city inside a city. Nothing to do with a typical Mexico, couple of streets away from the ghetto but we felt very safe. Anyway the beach is pretty far. Better to have a car or scooter
Victor and Gabriel were amazing and made the stay very enjoyable! The location of the hotel is perfect, noise wasn’t an issue for us but we stayed mon-wed. Great beach access and very laid back hotel, would definitely return if we visit tulum again ! And the owners have 2 lovely dogs.
Very nice and very quite hotel in the archeological zone of tulum. Romantic and pleasant. our jungle view room had a decent ocean view and it was amazing. Tea in the room at turn off was great. Service was also great. Very nice experience overall.
It was a great place just north of Tulum, beautiful ocean front location. Delicious breakfast and a couple of good restaurants in and near the hotel. Great service (Isabel and another guy whose name we forgot) who were very helpful and kind.
The location was beautiful! You are right on the white sand beaches, in the heart of Tulum hotel zone. The rooms are beautifully designed and it truly feels like living in paradise.
Selina is located very central in the hotel zone area of Tulum. This is very practical.
You have access to the beach, you can park on the parking space in front of the hotel.
This place is absolutely beautiful , the staff is amazing . I’ve stayed in many hotels at tulum beach but this hotel really feels like the original tulum !
