Big room and big bathroom with excellent shower. Very comfortable bed. We had a third floor room over the pool which gave an amazing view of the garden area. We stayed two nights and were close to everything including the ferry to Cancun which made it easy to bring luggage to the hotel. Front desk let us keep bags at the front 2 hours before check in so we could get out to sightsee. Really nice place.

This was my second time spending a week in Isla Mujeres.
This was my second time spending a week in Isla Mujeres. The island is very charming and has a lovely local vibe (though there are lots of tourists)--it's nothing like Cancun, though it has plenty of amenities. However this time, I found the services (food, drinks, golf-cart rental, etc) to be very expensive--the prices were comparable and even higher than at home. This was a surprise and we could have budgeted accordingly.
But still, beautiful beaches, water, sunsets, plenty of places to eat/drink.

I think 3 night would be enough to stay on this island.
I think 3 night would be enough to stay on this island. Besides the beaches, there's nothing spectacular to do that you wouldn't find elsewhere in the Cancun-Playa-Tulum area. Bring cash, pesos, it should be renamed to "solo efectivo(cash only) island", restaurants that accept cards are rare, the rates at the local exchange offices are not great.

Beautiful place to visit!
Beautiful place to visit! Friendly people, great live music, lots of restaurants, and food stands. The water was an amazing color of turquoise blue and the sand was soft and white. It was easy to rent a golf cart and tour the entire island. We had an amazing time!

This was our last stop before the end of our three week...
This was our last stop before the end of our three week backpacking around Yucatan . We stayed for five days and it was just right amount of time for us as Isla Mujeres is not that big . It’s however very pretty and scenic and every traveller should make at least 3 day stop there . Town has many restaurants and shops and if you go further away from the port , it gets even prettier . Locals are very friendly , although in town they’re hard to haggle with about prices ( not as cheap and easy as in Cozumel or other islands ) . You sort of get the feel that there are lot of Americans around ( as it’s close to Cancun ) who tend to pay silly money for souvenirs and locals seem to know that so they’re not budging with prices . So word of advice : if you are planning to get cheap souvenirs , get them in Cozumel or Holbox . Other than that , Isla Mujeres is a very pretty island to visit.

Isla can be very busy with overnight guests but day trippers...
Isla can be very busy with overnight guests but day trippers as well. So many places to eat and drink but don’t be afraid to wander off the Main Street and check out smaller establishments and the street carts. Family run places are the best. Not the deals price wise there used to be but still decent value.

Renting a golf cart is fun - but only needed for one day;
Very expensive - the businesses definitely know they have a captive audience; we were visiting from Cancun and booked Nomads x 4 nights (I don't recommend Nomads no "quiet" hours) and in all honesty - we could have taken a day trip and saved money and time. Very "touristy".
We were very pleased with our stay, hotel has a great location, beautiful little terrace, just steps away literally steps away from the Isla mujeres ferry station, and main street, full of restaurants nearby, but not noisy at all, super relax, and welcoming Caribbean vibes.it has a great friendly staff, and their facilities are more really comfortable, the hotel is super clean, modern , comfortable bed, great AC, we will definitely come back next time that we return to Isla Mujeres, also the swimming pool is very nice and clean!
The hotel is a quiet zone where you can relax and have peace of mind. The property is extremely clean. The staff try their best to give you great service. In Izla Cafe you can find courteous and friendly waiters. In particular, Erick, Eduardo and Felix are just outstanding. Not to mention the food and the presentation. On the lobby area Juan Carlos and Dario are exceptional. Dario brought us refreshing drinks upon arrival and warm, moist facial towels. Highly recommended.❤️🇲🇽❤️. My best experience in Mexico by far.
Our room was very well equipped, we had everything we needed during our stay. We liked that we had a fridge (big one!) and always available still water in the room. This is a really kind gesture.
The hotel located 2 minutes walk from the North Beach, which is less crowded as the others specially during the week. If you are a beach person this is a very good choice for you to stay.
In the street where the hotel located, there is a bakery and a small awesome burritos place.
The overall best impression and memory we left with has been Alejandro, the receptionist. Very professional and ready to help, he was the main link helping us recover my wife's lost mobile phone. He coordinated with the person who found it and ensured its recovery. CONGRATULATIONS AND KIND THANS, ALEJANDRO!
Overall, the hotel was good, located on the main commercial street with the port, beach shops and restaurants within minutes' walk.
We always stay here because of the great rates, comfort and convenience in a cool local neighborhood …only one block from the beach. Kay Isla is a small cozy, quiet and very clean hotel with views! daily sunrises! and sunsets! The beds are comfy and the bathroom shower heads put out a beautiful spa like spray with hot water. The TV and kitchen are great conveniences!
Best little hotel in the middle of Isla Mujeres. close to everything!
I loved my stay at this hotel!! It was so peaceful at night whilst also being in the perfect location of being close to the best beaches, restaurants and bars. The staff were also so kind and accommodating. And it was good value for money in comparison to some of the other spots in Isla Mujeres which don’t even look as nice! I will be recommending this spot to anyone I know visiting Isla. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
The hotel was located very close to the ferry stop, it took us about 4/5 minutes of walking. The hotel offered us beach towels every day that we could hand back once we were back from the beach, which was very nice. And even though Isla Mujeres is a very small island, the main street (where you can find food spots and souvenir shops was also just a 2 mins walk!).
We loved the view, our room, and convenience of other facilities. We have visited Isla Mujeres in the past several times but had been awhile. My first trip was in 1980 & wow what changes. Your hotel was wonderful & very comfortable!!! Very friendly & helpful staff, especially our room service gal ~ my husband loved having his breakfastin the room! Ha!
When we come to the hotel we got upgraded to a biigger room with living room, kitchen, very big bethroom.
The room is next to the pool. the hotel is very close to the ferry and also has like "private beach" excelent location, one of the best hotel in Isla, near all the night life in isla.
The room looks exactly like in the pictures, it was one of the best hotels in Mexico. The entrance is quite weird and should be better specify on the hotel description, but inside the place is really cool, the kitchen and room were pretty clean.
Nice room with decent bathroom, prime location at the beach although swimming is best done from the dock. Hotel is located on the more beautiful, peaceful side of the island, which we liked. Still a lot of things to do on site and nearby.
Na Balam was a very nice, small hotel! It has a great location, easy walk to North Beach, shopping and restaurants, while still in a quiet neighborhood. Staff was exceptional -- very helpful and gracious.
Beautiful property, right on the beach with delicious food and drinks on site. The sister hotel across the street has a spa, and I received one of the best massages in my life.
Amazing location on the best beach. Hotel super nice. Loved the food and drink choice. It was fantastic. I had a room with a great view. It was a very comfortable stay
The location of the hotel is the best feature ~ You are able to walk from the Ferry to the hotel and you can practically walk everywhere in Centro or Playa Norte.
The hotel was directly on the Malacon therefore listening to the waves from the patio was beautiful. The Hotel is walkable to North Beach and close the the town.
This is a typical Isla Mujeres boutique hotel. Very simple very clean. Beach chairs and beach towels are a bonus. Very quiet at night. Very good value.
