Check in was extremely easy. The staff was very friendly. My room was spotless. I stayed in room 229. The grounds were well kept. Lots of water machines and the wifi was good, no problems. It doesn’t advertise that you can get it in your room, but I was able too. I had a really good stay there.

Great location On the North Beach. I enjoyed the heavily landscaped "jungle" the hotel is tucked away in which made it very quiet considering the proximity of the road! A quick minute walk THROUGH Oceans Beach Club to the playa which went out very far at knee to waist high water, crystal clear blue! The " Breakfast Included" menu was limited to Na Balam guests but it was soooooo well prepared, that we never minded a bit! Actually some of the best "free" breakfasts I have had in Mexico. An added perc was the yoga classes that we thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely recommend Na Balam.

It was in the perfect spot near the southern tip (Punta Sur) of the island. Sits on top of a hill on a little dirt road, and away from the traffic…. A few minutes from walking to either side of the island and watch the sunrise or the sunset…. Very quiet and clean inside the property grounds and the rooms were just right! The meeting area and hotel desk were outside under a covered patio was the perfect place to wake up and have a little breakfast….. Everyone was warm and friendly and it was a quiet place to stay away from the center.

This was my second time spending a week in Isla Mujeres.
This was my second time spending a week in Isla Mujeres. The island is very charming and has a lovely local vibe (though there are lots of tourists)--it's nothing like Cancun, though it has plenty of amenities. However this time, I found the services (food, drinks, golf-cart rental, etc) to be very expensive--the prices were comparable and even higher than at home. This was a surprise and we could have budgeted accordingly.
But still, beautiful beaches, water, sunsets, plenty of places to eat/drink.

I think 3 night would be enough to stay on this island.
I think 3 night would be enough to stay on this island. Besides the beaches, there's nothing spectacular to do that you wouldn't find elsewhere in the Cancun-Playa-Tulum area. Bring cash, pesos, it should be renamed to "solo efectivo(cash only) island", restaurants that accept cards are rare, the rates at the local exchange offices are not great.

Beautiful place to visit!
Beautiful place to visit! Friendly people, great live music, lots of restaurants, and food stands. The water was an amazing color of turquoise blue and the sand was soft and white. It was easy to rent a golf cart and tour the entire island. We had an amazing time!

This was our last stop before the end of our three week...
This was our last stop before the end of our three week backpacking around Yucatan . We stayed for five days and it was just right amount of time for us as Isla Mujeres is not that big . It’s however very pretty and scenic and every traveller should make at least 3 day stop there . Town has many restaurants and shops and if you go further away from the port , it gets even prettier . Locals are very friendly , although in town they’re hard to haggle with about prices ( not as cheap and easy as in Cozumel or other islands ) . You sort of get the feel that there are lot of Americans around ( as it’s close to Cancun ) who tend to pay silly money for souvenirs and locals seem to know that so they’re not budging with prices . So word of advice : if you are planning to get cheap souvenirs , get them in Cozumel or Holbox . Other than that , Isla Mujeres is a very pretty island to visit.

Isla can be very busy with overnight guests but day trippers as well. So many places to eat and drink but don’t be afraid to wander off the Main Street and check out smaller establishments and the street carts. Family run places are the best. Not the deals price wise there used to be but still decent value.

Renting a golf cart is fun - but only needed for one day;
Very expensive - the businesses definitely know they have a captive audience; we were visiting from Cancun and booked Nomads x 4 nights (I don't recommend Nomads no "quiet" hours) and in all honesty - we could have taken a day trip and saved money and time. Very "touristy".
The Selina Hotel was perfect for us. The vibe was amazing, cool location, amazing pool area(!!), yoga classes for free and very nice and friendly staff.
The location of the hotel is great as well.
Moreover it was possible to use the pool area because we were little to early to check in. At the pool area is a restaurant were you can eat and drink all day long amazing food, a little bit pricey but okay.
We really want to recommend this hotel if you love to feel the island life of isla mujeres!
Our room was very well equipped, we had everything we needed during our stay. We liked that we had a fridge (big one!) and always available still water in the room. This is a really kind gesture.
The hotel located 2 minutes walk from the North Beach, which is less crowded as the others specially during the week. If you are a beach person this is a very good choice for you to stay.
In the street where the hotel located, there is a bakery and a small awesome burritos place.
The location of Posada Del Mar is exceptional. Right at the Playa Centro Beach of Isla Mujeres, you can’t go wrong. The manager Raul is very welcoming as he gave tips about the island. The front desk staff were very helpful. They also were very kind to keep our luggage even before we checked in . The hotel is very scenic and pleasing. The on-site restaurant Penguino serve great breakfast . All in all great bang for the buck and I will be back for sure.
I spent a few days on Isla Mujeres and it was really beautiful! The Nomads is a bit away from the noisy town, which is good because it's much quieter. You can still get into town quickly by taxi or bus. I stayed in an 8-bed dorm and it was really nice, the beds were comfortable, there were curtains, AC and a private bathroom. The hotel and private beach area is beautiful and really special. I felt very relaxed here.
This resort is located at the best spot in Isla Mujeres (playa norte). The villa has a breathtaking ocean view and easy access to the beach. Some people from the staff are really nice and treat you really well (some waiters and waitresses and the hardworking cleaning and maintenance workers). The food was also really good, the buffet is not the largest, but had everything we were looking for.
Amazing stay at isla caracol, super friendly staff , is 5 min walk from Port and 5 min to the beach anything you need is next to you restaurants, super market etc. The rooms are very clean and cozy. Garden and pool area is amazing to chill for a beer . Tottaly recommend the hotel and isla mujeres is the best , no sargassum good people and good vibes. And the beach is a dream.
Skull's Landing is a small hotel/restaurant/bar within walking distance of downtown Isla Mujeres. It was clean, staff friendly and good prices for food and drink. A/C works great. There is an area to park golf cart too. It has a pier going out into the water with some cute swings. It has a great view from the room (upstairs) we stayed in.
Staff at restaurant, and Emilio, the waiter at the beach were a outstanding!
The restaurant could use some electric fans since is outdoors and you sit just sweating while eating. However the waitress, and the waiter we’re just wonderful people doing their best to give great service to hotel guests.
Very nice little family run hotel on the southern tip of isla Mujeres! It has its own beach access, a little pool and nice big rooms. You can take your breakfast on your terrace which is great!
Beds are super comfy and rooms big.
I would definitely stay here again to escape the crowds!
The hospitality of a small hotel and the luxury of the Zoetry chain. It was our third time and hopefully not the last one, truly a "home away from home" feeling. Fresh food, made to order, excellent service and kindness. The spa massages were great, yoga, pool & beach service.
Room is spacious, clean, very comfortable, common areas of the hotel are beautiful: garden is great, beautiful little terrace to sit outside our room, the pool is lovely. The staff are very helpful and friendly and it is close to the best beach in the island.
Loved this he location steps to one of Isla Mujeres best beaches PlayaNorte known for its snorkelling and shallow warm waters. Location was perfect for quick walk to town center and many restaurants & nightlife yet quiet and restful
Beautiful property, right on the beach with delicious food and drinks on site. The sister hotel across the street has a spa, and I received one of the best massages in my life.
This is an excellent place to stay during your trip to Isla Mujeres. It's close to the best beach, immaculately clean and managed with professionalism. Highly recommended.
