While the location itself wasn't terrible, my stay was unfortunately marred by communication problems and unexpected charges. Upon booking the all-inclusive rate for one person, I contacted the property to inquire about adding another guest. Despite sending three messages before arrival, I received no response.
At check-in, I was informed of a hefty 2000 peso ($120) fee for the additional person, who was also required to purchase the all-inclusive package. This felt like a hidden cost and a missed opportunity for the hotel to clarify things beforehand. The lack of response to my inquiries and the mandatory additional package left a negative impression.
The food quality was average at best, and considering the extra charge, not worth the price. Overall, this could have been a decent stay if not for the communication issues and unexpected fees.

1. The shower water pressure and temperature were great.
2. THE FOOD WAS CONSISTENTLY COLD. I WENT TO BREAKFAST WHEN IT STARTED AT 730AM AND FOOD WAS COLD?
3. NO ONE BUT A HANDFUL OF STAFF SPOKE ENGLISH SO NEEDS WENT UNMET.
4. BAR TENDERS NEED TRAINING ON HOW TO MAKE DRINKS.
5. RESORT NEEDS NOT TO BE SO RESTRICTIVE IN THEIR POLICIES AS WE PAID OVER $2000 FOR OUR STAY. A BABY SHOULD NOT PREVENT THE PARENT FROM EXPERINCING A RESTAURANT. THE FOOD WAS COLD AND TASTELESS ANYWAY. WE WAS ABLE TO TRY IT IN THE MEXICAN RESTAURANT.
6. ALL ACTIVITIES WAS SPOKEN IN SPANISH! ONLY A HANDFULL OF STAFF SPOKE ENGLISH. THE STAFF WITH DIRECT CONTACT WITH US DIDN'T SPEAK ENGLISH AT ALL.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I GOT SICK FROM THE SEAFOOD. WAS IN BED THE LAST TWO DAYS.
7. MINI BAR WAS NEVER FILLED WITHOUT US CALLING FOR A REFILL AT 2PM.
8. NO STAFF USED GLOVES IN PREPARING OR HANDLING THE FOOD.
MY FAMILY PAID HARD EARNED US DOLLARS TO STAY AT THIS RESORT JUST TO BE DISRESPECTED, FED COLD TASTELESS FOOD, AND DISMISSED. THIS RESORT NEEDS A COMPLETE OVERHAUL FROM THE MANAGER CHRISTOPHER WHO WAS OF NO ASSISTANCE WITH ANY CONCERNS. CHRISTOPHER DIDN'T EVEN LISTEN TO ANYTHING WE SAID, HE WAS UNBENDING WITHOUT BEING REASONABLE. JUST INEFFECTIVE WITH AMERICANS. HE IS AN ARROGANT MEXICAN WITHOUT CAUSE OR JUSTIFICATION. AS THE MANAGER HE SHOULD CONSIDER SERVING MEXICAN FOOD, ESPECIALLY AT THE MEXICAN RESTAURANT AND ALSO ENSURE THE TEMPERATURE OF THE FOOD IS HOT, ESPECIALLY COMING OUT THE KITCHEN TO THE TABLE. I REALLY DISLIKED MY STAY AT THIS RESORT AND IT WILL BE A COLD DAY IN HELL IF I OR ANY AMERICAN I KNOW VISITS!
I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT RAUL AND CHRISTIAN WAS EXCELLENT!! MORE STAFF LIKE THEM ARE NEEDED.

we have been coming here for over 25 years, PV has changed so much. It's very busy with many tourists, but you can still find a lot of good restaurants and the people are so friendly. I come from CA, so its an easy flight and sunny when it's winter at home. Great seafood, guacamole and margaritias!

Loved Boca and the hike to Las Animas!
Loved Boca and the hike to Las Animas! Loved being able to take the water taxi back, but sometimes felt pressured to take water taxi at other times. Did not like Zona Romantica area as it felt too much like a glorified Las Vegas! Puerto Vallarta zoo needs more funding for upkeep. Malecon was beautiful. Yelapa was beautiful. Bus was reasonable and accessible. Food in Mismaloya was the best deal for price paid! Food at Boca was good, but higher priced. Food in Zona Romantica was overrated.

The hotel looks nice but everything that could go wrong did.
The hotel looks nice but everything that could go wrong did. The receptionist was supposed to give me double oceanview and gave me a queen bed she was upset and gave me another room facing the pool. The plumbing is terrible no hot water for a day and the staff gives you alot of excuses with no results a manager is non existent you never talk to him. My daughters passport was stolen out the room she pick this hotel for her birthday and that happened, my second daughter went to the beach and got her iPhone stolen. The staff member reimburse me for 1 night stay and I went to the money exchange and (2) 200 hundred dollar bills pesos were fake she asked me who gave you that I told her the hotel and she apologized for them. So this the first and last trip here this trip was the worst!!👎🏾

Love Puerto Vallarta but the hotel is total junk.
Love Puerto Vallarta but the hotel is total junk. Office type chairs to relax in. No refrigerator. My ceiling in my room dripped and was fixed 6 times. Was dripping when I left. Don’t send people here and in fact I would like a refund because it was not as advertised

excellent location. Right on the beach and very enjoyable. Within five minutes walking distance to the marina as well so you can enjoy other restaurants and shopping. The food at this Westin hotel is amazing. Everything on the menu was good, from the tacos to the grilled salmon. Although the food was a bit pricey. even if you were not staying here, you can buy a day pass that allows you to eat at La Palma restaurant on the resort as well as take advantage of the beach and pool activities.
I loved the location near the beach and being at the end of a street blocked from thru traffic. The rooms were fantastic, very clean and loved hearing the ocean waves hitting the beach. The staff kept people out of the area at night so it was nice and quiet. There was a pool on the beach and some rooms had private pools. Several friends had rooms and the staff did not give us a hard time about going to the other rooms. They also supplied bottled water at the front desk.
Hotel had an elevator. It was on the beach. The pool was nice and warm, the area around the pool was also nice. Beds were very comfortable for sleeping & it was quiet at night. The view from the balcony in the early morning & watching the big ships come into the bay and leave at night. We love whale watching from the balcony. The staff were great especially the young lady who worked during the day at the front desk, she was absolutely awesome.
I sincerely appreciated the location of the hotel. It is literally on the beach, and our balcony views were beautiful. The staff truly does their best to keep the facility clean and well maintained. The restaurant that is in the hotel has delectable foods and they are very reasonably priced. Shopping and restaurants are very near by, which was very fun and convenient for our trip.
The room was incredible with windows all around (3 balconies in our room!) We upgraded the room when we arrived as it was available and it was worth it. There are 2 pools and a hot tub and Juan the bartender is the best! The hotel cat is cute :). Large beds which is unusual in Mexico and TV with Netflix etc. Will return next time we are in town. Thanks for a memorable stay.
This hotel is very good with the nice restaurant and perfect customer service. It's located in the central part of Puerto Vallarta near Malecon and beaches.
Prices for various rooms are reasonable, and similar to the most Casas / BnBs in this area, although this hotel is much better.
Stay away from booking of Casa Maria Malecon if you do not want to experience scams.
THIS HOTEL WAS FOR MY WIFE HOLLY , BECAUSE SHE COOKED EVERY MEAL EXPECT ONE DURING OUR STILL IN PUERTO VALLARTA FROM THE 17 TH OF APRIL UNTIL MAY 6 TH , 2023 ! SHE DIDN' T DO ANY COOKING , CLEANING or JUST LAY
IN THE SUN WITH DRINKS and HAVE ALL SHE COULD EAT TOO . ME I WAS JUST HAPPY TO BE THERE AT POOL SIDE WITH MY WIFE , IN HER HAPPY TIME !
The huge area where the hotel is located, with beautiful gardens and palm trees, and access to one of the best beaches in Puerto Vallarta city area. The brunch that was available in the restaurant, and in front of the beach. There is a mini-market conveniently located by the hotel entrance, so we did not need to get far for many everyday needs.
The location of Hotel posada de roger always makes it a go-to property for us. It is in the heart of what Puerto Vallarta calls the romantic zone and steps away from restaurants. The rooms are furnished with local furnishings and reflect the old culture of Mexico. It’s not fancy, but I would call it cozy.
I liked the location where the Hotel was located in an upscale neighborhood and across the street from a golf course.
The food at the all hotel restaurants were all very good and the prices were reasonable.
I would book a stay there again if I am returning to that area of Mexico.i
The hotel was right on the beach. The beach was beautiful There were lots of shops and restaurants in the area. The hotel was close to everything worth visiting in Puerto Vallarta. The people are wonderful and so was the area.
Beautiful, clean hotel with the best view we’ve seen in Mexico for an amazing value. Very dog friendly, yet definitely as clean as a standard 4/5 star hotel - our first time traveling with a dog, we were shocked.
Wonderful hotel, great location, 1 block from the malecon and beach. Plenty of great restaurants withing walking distance. Located in Old Town, which is the best part of Puerto Vallarta to stay in.
The room was spacious and decorated in a really cool way. The hotel is right in the centre of the romantic zone so you can just walk outside and go to all the cool restaurants and the Malecon.
Amazing hotel! It was clean, modern and stylish. The staff were helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The drinks were strong enough (some all inclusive hotels water them down!)
