Pantai Sepat beach, wind is breezy, chill, not too crowded when we visited in the morning around 9am. You need a car to get around Kuantan. Kula Cakes's Mango Cheesecake was not bad. Kuantan has very cheap and nice food.
Kuantan has very cheap and nice food. The price of Grab is very cheap to get around. There are numerous shopping malls to buy anything you need. Kuantan is very hot and humid. It is ok to be out and about pre 1000h and again after 1800h. The shops are slow to open and there is no point going out before 1100h to shop, however, the shops are open later in the evening to around 2100h each day.

My wife and I are food hunters. We've had the best Patin Tempoyak at Mabiq, The best Durian Cendol at Mustafa and bought Tapai Ubi at the wet market. We tried the Pudding Diraja but didn't enjoyed it. We stayed at Swiss-Bell Hotel in Tanjung Lumpur and the hotel has a breath-taking view from our room. Worth visiting Kuantan again.

The owner prepared extra mattress, pillow and towel adequate for all five of us. The apartment was clean and neat with good decent amenities especially the washing machine. The swimming pool is catered for all ages of group as well. Instructions were clear so check in was brisk. The balcony view was just excellent. A lot of food and shops nearby. Definitely a highly recommended getaway 👍👍
