Stay in the heart of Kota Bharu! Dar Es Salam or "Abode of Peace" is a two-unit studio apartments which provide amenities and comfort to make your stay memorable. Each air conditioned unit offers double and single beds with a kitchenette (basic crockery and cutleries, kettle, fridge, microwave oven), complimentary tea/coffee/drinking water, TV (ASTRO), wifi, iron, basic toiletries and towels.
We like learning new things and we love travelling; so we understand that as travellers you want a place to relax at the end of the day at affordable price with no compromise on comfort and peace of mind. Our studios are abodes that we ourselves do not mind staying. We hope you would too! :-)
If location is everything, then we have the best! There are local eateries within walking distance of the studios. You can sample authentic Kelantan cuisine or go for something more modern. Want to know more about Kelantan? The State Museum and Kelantan Tourist Information Centre is about two blocks down the road. Shopping? Supermarkets (Parkson, Giant, Pantai Timur Hypermarket) are about 5 to 8 minute stroll down the road. Two bazaars (Bazar Buluh Kubu and Bazar Medan Tuan Padang) are only a few minutes walk on either side of our place. The main wet market (the famous Pasar Siti Khadijah) with food, batik and crafts galore is a street away and so is the night market. No transport? No problem! There are two taxi stands within the vicinity (one of them is right at our doorstep!) ; and the bus station is a minute away.
