Not too much to do. Just relax in the hotel. Beaches very bad, just offers for local (nothing for foreigners), cannot swimming there. 2 temples to visit but not make sense to go there for that. The hotel seems more than it is.

Very local area, need to be used to Malaysia before you visit here. People are friendly and prices very affordable, but you’re not in KL and surrounding, so don’t expect any fancy expat stuff or restaurants. Restaurants are all Malay or Chinese and some fast food chains.
Beaches are nice and clean, but water is sandy/muddy, don’t expect blue water.

My Port Dickson getaway was an enchanting blend of serene...
My Port Dickson getaway was an enchanting blend of serene beachfronts, delectable dining experiences, and effortless navigation through the picturesque landscapes. Among the four places I explored, Pantai Teluk Kemang emerged as a standout gem, capturing the essence of beachside bliss with its expansive shores and a myriad of water activities.
Upon my noon arrival on Day 1, I indulged my taste buds at Tino's Pizza, a gastronomic haven for pizza enthusiasts. As the evening unfolded, Restoran Yun Long Seafood beckoned with its delectable Chinese seafood cuisine, creating a delightful symphony of flavors to conclude the day.
Navigating through Port Dickson proved to be a seamless experience, thanks to a single road with two lanes flanking the enchanting beaches. The simplicity of the layout made traversing from one captivating locale to another a breeze, eliminating the need for complex turns and ensuring a stress-free journey.
The following day commenced with a satisfying breakfast at the hotel, setting the stage for a day of exploration at the alluring Kemang Beach. Later, a visit to The Cove PD Waterfront added a touch of sophistication to my culinary adventure, treating me to a delightful light meal amidst the scenic surroundings.
However, a note for future trips: Opting for accommodation closer to Teluk Kemang is advisable to minimize travel time. Choosing Lexis Hibiscus, while opulent, did come with a drawback of a 15-20 minute commute by car. A strategic lodging choice can enhance the overall experience, ensuring more time is spent savoring the beauty of Port Dickson and less time on the road.

PD is packed with tourists on weekends and the road would be quite congested around Teluk Kemang and near the town. Anyway, it's considered as good for short vacation destination as it's near Kuala Lumpur and other surrounding states.
Amongst many other seafood restaurants in PD, you should try Sri Pantai Ria Restaurant (I understand there're 2 outlets i.e. Teluk Kemang & PD Waterfront). We had the Nyonya Style Steamed Seabass and some other seafood. They're marvelous.
There're many food trucks available at the waterfront too (next to TF Supermarket). Other than that, people can still opt for fast foods as there're many available in that area.

Not a place for foreigners who has expectations of white sandy beach and clean water. The beach is clean but the water is muddy so I wouldn't swim in it. Not a single fish in the water so it tells you that even the fish wouldn't swim there. If you want great beaches look elsewhere. Very disappointed as I used to come here when I was a child and the beaches had white sand and the water crystal clear. Overdeveloped in this area has destroyed the beaches

Location quite good to relax and enjoy the seaview. Room was clean. Thanks to Lexis for upgrading our room from deluxe to executive. More spacious. Staff very friendly especially all guys who drove the buggy. They have mini train, mini car track, merry go round for those who have small children (RM10/pax for ride - quite expensive). Also they have bicycle to rent. Beside the location, they have a beach but shared with glory beach resort customer.
What I loved was the location—very close to the PD Waterfront, bus station, and food courts. The hotel has provided the wrong address on booking.com, as in Jalan Raja Aman Shah, but it is actually located in Jalan Mahajaya. We got down to the wrong location and spent hours locating it. The mobile number provided didn't respond on time.
Everything was superb. Thing that really impressed me was - not even single hair of previous guest to be seen in the villa! Applause to the housekeeping team. Also, the staff very friendly and helpful. Thankyou grand lexis for the pleasant stay for me and my husband! We really like it. Will repeat our vacation there for sure.
I love the view from my room, the room is really big, it's a really private place, we don't have to go out from the hotel because all we need is there. Because the beach is only in front of the hotel. Except you have to find your own food . They provide breakfast but not many varieties of food. Sure will come again.!!!
Last I stayed at this hotel was in end 2010 for a company team building. I think it was recently rebranded from Guoman to Thistle then. Glad to see that the hotel has been relatively well maintained.
Pool is also well maintained and clean. They have really deep pools up to 2.5m.
Staff were great! Kudos to Thistle!
-private beach. Price is reasonable for a hotel w a private beach, and my late booking
-breakfast buffet is decent and delicious too, considering the price at just rm20/pax
-i basically tolerate all other short coming bcause of the beach, and my family had fun despite it.
Love the location, the distance between hotel and beach and to the nearest amenities. You can walk along the PD waterfront with a nice view. The room was clean. Very easy to do self check in and the host is very attentive.
I like the overall structure, location and facility coz I am regular to this hotel before MCO
Like it cosy and private for family as when we parked, we can easily enjoy the room, the facility, the meal and the beach...
Love the beach, very near to the hotel. Easy access. The hotel also very considerate, telekung and sejadah was prepared inside the room. Food is nice too, would be nicer if got Teh Tarik drink as well.
Overall my stay was excellent . Even the room little bit run down and old ,cleanliness and facilities up to the standard
Breakfast was good
My second time here for sure will choose this hotel
I am a return customer to Lexis Hibiscus. This hotel has always impress me.
Breakfast was superb.
Room size was good.
Facilities in the room & around the hotel was excellent.
We booked grand lexis because we wanted a private pool for our 3 years old kid and also for the beach (walking distant from hotel). The room, pool, breakfast are good.
1. The hotel is closed to the beach.
2. Surrounded with open carpark, 24-hours laundry, 24-hours 7-Eleven Mart, food stalls, very happening.
3. Room is spacious.
