A clean town which looks like it has no crime. We went to the police station for directions and found 2 officers there at 01h00. There were no people to report crime. The officers were even looking drowsy because they had nothing to do.

Swakopmund is so beautiful, couldn't take my eyes off the buildings. They were so mesmerizing. The streets are well organized and very safe neighborhoods. My favorite place was the beach ⛱️. We ate at Spur, KFC and Shoprite. The food was delicious 😋 It's very easy to get around Swakopmund and the people there, were very nice. The only thing I felt needed to be improved especially in the activities we did was tour guiding. I wish they could have explained more on each tour.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

A little piece of Germany tucked onto the Namibian shore of the Atlantic Ocean. I felt comfortable walking around the town and down to the beach. It is a quiet place with no nightlife to write home about. People seem to be generally friendly. I wouldn't recommend it if you are party animal.

A trip to the coast especially Swakopmund is always exciting and way too relaxing. A small and Friendly town with residents ready to assist when you need any information. Hansa Hotel has been my favorite lunch place and "old days" memories.Van Zyl - 10Scored 10

My room overlooked the Ocean, my reason for being is Swakopmund. The beaches and surrounding grass and promenade were spotlesly clean as was the town. Everyone I dealt with was kind and helpful. The rims are beautifully painted and decorated. I loved the old wooden floors and the lovely furniture. Everything is thoughtful and pretty. If you are looking for a unique place to stay, this is it! Riaan the owner goes out of the way to make you comfortable. He helped us settle in, told us lots about the area and even let us sample some of the local dishes. We felt instantly welcomed!UteGermany

Nearby are restaurants and shops that are very walkable. we should have stayed another night in Swakopmund and would have been happy staying here.

As I checked in I was advised to go on top of the roof to watch the sunset at 18h15, got advice on the available tours and attractions and my bookings were made on the spot. I must say that the person who checked me in was extremely efficient and I was impressed.
