I am from Hermanus, South Africa. This was my first time in Walvis Bay. I was immensely impressed and content with Walvis Bay, its people, environs, environment, and so much more. There are nice second-hand stores and thrift stores to purchase local clothing and tourist items at a lower price. Shopping is great. The walks are wonderful. It is not hot as one would expect from Namibia. The flora and fauna are beautiful. Do not forget to eat at Godenfang - the most wonderful and fresh food ever. We did not have an automobile. It was easy to hale a taxi on any street to take us anywhere - even to Swakopmund, which is 30 minutes to the North. Go and have an adventure.

I do not know about restaurants to visit in Walvis Bay, as well as the activities to do besides the boat rides. So I basically dinned at the hotel I was booked in. I also do not find it easy to get around Walvis Bay so I avoided the hassle of getting lost and enjoyed the facilities at the hotel.AnitaUchamNamibia - 10Scored 10

The hotel was perfectly situated, between the town and lagoon. And this made long or short walks perfect. The area is peaceful and gives you a sense of security, as well as the friendly and helpful residents and staff. The harbour is close with beautiful scenery and excellent restaurants.

Its always great to be at the coast, perfect weather with lots of activities- climbing dune 7, boat rides, camel rides and lots of fun too at the beach with shopping of course at the new mall. I always go for seafood when I'm that side. It is indeed very easy to navigate Walvis Bay because everything is sign posted clearly.

We did the Catamaran tour, Fantastic... Dune 7 sandboarding a must for all visitors. Did a few runs at the Dunes Mall, very friendly service from all the stores. could find everything we needed. Sunday lunch buffet at Goanikontes Oasis, five stars.

Place still very well kept but slight renovation to expand the dining areas and outdoor garden was removed sadly which I loved the lawn. The cosy living sofa that used to be was also gone to my dismay but I can understand changes maybe required by new owner. I’m glad they kept 80% of the original looks and furnitures which adds to the nostalgic part of this wonderful boutique hotel which I adores.

The owner and his girlfriend were extremely friendly and helpful and lived on the property to provide recommendations or in case anything went wrong. The bed was really comfy, the shower was hot, and there was Netflix in my room which helps provide some extra relaxation in the middle of a trip. I really enjoyed my stay :)

She organized the best tour to sandwich harbor for us, gave us a really nice room and was always there for us for any questions we had, thanks to her we would really love to come back to Langholm Hotel one day. Bath tub in the room is amazing, we didn't want to leave :) Nice Garden with fresh mint and lavender, I found a place to practice yoga in that garden - super cozy. Safe area, big parking, location is great.

The apartment was beautiful, spacious and nicely decorated. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Overall a superb stay, would highly recommend staying here!
