Location, location, location! It is a lovely apartment in a great spot for accessing the beach and with lots of amenities nearby, like the train station for access to Amsterdam and the shops in town within a short walk. The host was very kind and gave us a good introduction to the apartment and spoke excellent English. It is a quirky conversion of a house into apartments with very traditionally Dutch stairs: steep! The decor was inoffensive, and the place was immaculately clean. It was nice to have the TV and the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cups, plates and cutlery, and different varieties of teas, and it had a kettle, hob, small portable grill, and minifridge: we would've liked a microwave or built-in oven but others would not mind. The garage was useful for parking our car.
