The flat is compact but feels spacious, comfortable while still stylish, has a well equipped kitchenette, and has comfortable beds. It's nice to be in a residential area. Parking would be easy but there are also two bus routes from the airport that stop about a 5 minute walk away. It's a nice 2k walk over the bridge into the center. Female owner is very nice (I'm sure her husband is as well but I didn't meet him) and available but not obtrusive.

André was very friendly. The apartment was so nice, stylish, loved it. Location was perfect for me. Close to Arctic Cathedral, bridge to town centre, bus stops, Eurospar not even 10mins walk, close to Sherpatrappa - stairs track up the mountine with beautiful view of the city or you can take cable car up. Parking spot for your car (if you're renting, try Rent A Star, Mathias is absolute legend).

I actually really liked that the place is across the bridge in the more residential area so it does allow you to feel like you're living in the city with the locals. The apartment is fully furnished and nicely designed. Shops close generally early but there is a fully equipped kitchen to make food with ingredients you'd get. The space is spacious and bright, and has nice views out into the general landscape of the neighbourhood and also the city Andre is a great host and makes sure you're comfortable in your stay and have what you need Definitely would try to stay here again if I visit Tromso in the future

The bathroom felt spa-like, the beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped, which made self-catering easy. The unit was also in a great location near the Arctic Cathedral. We were able to easily walk across the bridge to the city center as well as to the steps that lead to the top of Fløya.

This was one of those rare private apartment rentals which was both affordable and didn't feel purely utilitarian--the owners clearly put thought and effort into making the place both beautiful and livable, with thought put into all the little details. The kitchen is stocked with the basic essentials (coffee, salt, sugar, good quality knives, pots, etc.), the floor is heated, which makes the house very cosy in winter, and there is local art on the walls, complete with a description in the booklet provided. The internet connection was great. The hosts were also very welcoming and had good advice, as well as generously allowing us to stay past check-out time since no one was arriving that day. While not in the center, it is very easy to access by bus. I highly recommend this apartment.
