• This was the jewel in the crown of our visit to New Zealand. A perfect ending to a wonderful trip. • Perfect location, just a few minutes walk to the waterfront, shops & restaurants and the ferry to Russell. Waitanigi Treaty grounds is also walk-able and a must see. • Lovely chalet - very well appointed, comfortable with seemingly every need catered to. Super clean with thoughtful eco-friendly toiletries. • Fabulous views from the deck over the bay - the perfect place to relax. • Well equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare food or bring in take-away from a local restaurant. • Host Helen was very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. • Lush vegetation and peaceful surroundings. • Take the ferry to Russell and sail aboard the R. Tucker Thompson sailing ship. Sweet!

These north-facing apartments feature beautiful sea views looking out across the Bay of Islands. All units have heating and TV. All units are fully self-contained and include cooking facilities. Free WiFi is included. Nestled among beautiful trees in a secluded garden, Abri Apartments is an easy 5-minute walk from Paihia Wharf. The shops, cafes and restaurants in the heart of central Paihia are 3 minutes’ walk away. Each studio and suite at Abri Apartments Paihia is tastefully furnished, with comfortable lounge area, stereo CD player and a private terrace with views to Russell and beyond. Some studio apartments include a spa bath, dishwasher and air conditioning. Secure off-street car parking is provided. Self-service laundry facilities are available. The tour desk can book boat tours of the Bay of Island and bus tours to Cape Reinga.

We invite you to come relax and stay in one of our 3 apartments where you can enjoy the wonderful sea views from your own private Deck with BBQ. Away from busy roads, Abri is located in central Paihia within a sub-tropical garden on the hillside providing a tranquil and peaceful holiday retreat. There are 2 unique individual cedar chalets (The Palms and The Treetops) featuring full kitchen facilities and Double Spa Bath as well as a 1 bedroom Suite with kitchenette and shower facilities. Abri is a 4 minute stroll to the restaurants, cafés, shops and Paihia Wharf. Abri Apartments takes special requests.
Peter and I have been providing accommodation to visitors in the Bay of Islands since 1992; firstly in Russell for 9 years and then in Paihia from 2001. We purchased Abri Apartments in January 2012 and just Love it Here!! We are positive that you will Too!! :-)
Paihia is the main tourist centre for the Bay of Islands & makes a great central point while you explore Northland or maybe you just wish to relax & experience NZ at its best. Beaches, Cruises, History, Walks, Cafes, Wineries, Golf - It's All Here!!
