Property information

This gorgeous older style cottage is on Pioneer Drive, alongside Lake Tekapo. It is down a long drive so has lots of privacy while still retaining a corridor view of the stunning turquoise blue waters of Lake Tekapo. There is a spacious living area and open plan kitchen / dining with a log fire and wall heater. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you require to prepare you own meals and a dishwasher to help the clean up! There are two comfortable double bedrooms and books to while away any spare time. There is a lovely outdoor area for you to relax in. By prior agreement ONLY, Beech Cottage also welcomes well-behaved family dogs, so your whole family can enjoy the break. A small fee applies. Please enquire.

Lake Tekapo is renowned for it's stunning night sky, beautiful scenery and unbeatable climate! Tekapo has a lot on offer whatever the season...skiing, boating, fishing, walking, tramping, mountain biking, photography, star-gazing, horse treks, scenic flights, ice-skating, golf, paddle boarding, 4WDing, hot pools...and more! This property is located just a few minutes drive from Tekapo’s village centre, lakefront, restaurants, shops, hot springs and observatory. Mt Dobson and Roundhill Ski Areas are both within an hours drive. Tekapo is also the perfect base for exploring neighbouring Mackenzie Country attractions like Twizel, Lakes' Pukaki & Ohau and Aoraki Mount Cook.
