I visited the Farmers Market which was fun.

I visited the Farmers Market which was fun. I also had a takeaway meal of blue cod, oysters and homemade chips from Best Cafe. The meal was amazing. I visited a part of the Botanic gardens which was lovely and watched a women’s rugby game at Opoho, just above the Gardens. We were treated to beautiful weather and a large flocks of wood pigeons!

It was very cold, but luckily it didn't rain and where we've stayed our heatpump was amazing. Dunedin is beautiful with very old beautiful buildings and lots of noisy students walking in the main streets until very late talking very loud and kicking rubbish bins.

We just stayed one night on our way to Stewart island as we have been here many times. We did a trip to Port Chalmers as we hadn’t been there. It a a cute town with a working port. Worth a look and a bit of a walk around.

Absolutely everything!! The service, the decor, the renovation, all of the unique touches - perfection. I booked two apartments last minute as we had a change in travel itinerary. I was looking for something special as I had my family with me from the US visiting. It was like winning the lottery stumbling upon these. I don't say that lightly having over 20 years of experience working in the holiday rental business. My husband and I can't wait to take our next proper trip to DunedIn so we can stay here for a least a few days.

Fantastic location, very central in Dunedin and the view of the waterfront was a perk. It was next door to Moiety, where we really wanted to book dinner for a night, Unfortunately we were staying over new years so the restaurant was closed. Hotel was walking distance to downtown and rhe university, fireworks, and most restaurants and about 15min driving away from the castle. We were able to drive about 45min to the royal albatross center as well, which was very scenic.

I booked Bluestone on George as Fable, my normal Dunedin hotel, was booked out. I didn’t have any particular expectations, but I was wowed by how immaculately clean Bluestone is, with quality fittings. Fantastic location that’s an easy walk to Forsyth Barr stadium and an ideal spot for family visiting student children in North Dunedin. My 4th floor room had an incredible view and I like the way the property is set back from the road.

Loved everything about our stay. Gorgeous hotel, friendly staff and the bedrooms were well designed, comfortable with high-end finishes and a very luxurious bathroom. The only suggestion I would have is to have a bit more water available. My daughter and I absolutely loved it and will most definitely go back there.

It’s always very clean and the reason we always book with Scenic is due to the beds. They are so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud! The staff are always so helpful and polite and the location is right in town so you don’t need to worry about taxis etc. Whenever we come to Dunedin we always book this hotel.

Great communication with John before and during our stay. Great sized bathroom and washer/dryer helped sort out our 'holiday clothes', After mastering the steep hills we did enjoy a great meal at the Cable Hotel literally down the hill. Local shops a bonus. Outlook great and felt very private.
