Josh was very accommodating. They went out of their way to keep us cosy by having the fire on to provide warmth. It was a very good gesture.

This is my house, and guests are welcome, I will try to be helpful and make your stay enjoyable. Lounge, garden areas, decking and balcony are all available for your use. Super-king bed in the 'King Room', Queen + single in the 'Queen Room', shared use of 2 bathrooms. If you want or need something extra, just ask - but your request may not always be possible or suitable. No food in the bedrooms - I have a kitchen and dining area available. I look forward to your visit.
I have returned to New Zealand after having traveled and lived overseas for many years. I enjoy meeting people and learning new things.
Oamaru is a small coastal town with a collection of restaurants, heritage buildings, penguin viewing, public gardens and is at the end of the popular Alps to Ocean cycle trail. It has a Steampunk museum, several art galleries, specialist bookshops and coffee houses in the old part of town. There is a swimming pool, an indoor rock climbing wall (a particular favourite of mine), and easy access to the Waitaki river for fishing.
