Deloraine Stone Cottage is located next to the host's house. Set in a beautiful rural landscape amongst flowering gardens. Relish the peace and quiet apart from native bird song. Deloraine Cottage boasts 3 king bedrooms, fully self-contained kitchen, dining for 6, laundry facilities and flat screen TV. All the modern comforts have been catered for while being transported back in time to yesteryear. Deloraine sleeps up to 6 people using existing king bedding and is suitable for extended families, friends and work colleagues. Enjoy a swim in the outdoor sun-heated 10m long saltwater pool, roast marshmellows over the fire pit while telling scary stories or watch the kids at the playground with pirate lookout. While you're here take a tour of the Deloraine Cattery - a luxury holiday resort for cats - and make some new feline friends. A short 5 minute drive from town and 7 minutes to Onerahi Airport. We provide a welcome breakfast pack with an asortment of cereals, fresh bread and fruits, yoghurt, butter and spreads, milk, tea and coffee. You’ll also find the basics, such as sugar, spices, salt and pepper. The tap water is suitable for drinking.

We are a family of five, three girls - Isabella, Mia and Kaia. We love to travel abroad and explore our own beautiful country. We work from home caring for people’s cats in our luxury cattery building and hosting guests from around the world. We invite you to make yourself at home and explore the grounds at your leisure.

Just down the road is Abbey Caves limestone formation and glow worms, Parahaki Mountain Bike Park with 12km of trails, AH Reed memorial park with a suspended bush canopy walk viewing the mighty Kauri and bush floor. Take a walk through Mair Park to Parahaki Lookout for a 180 degree view of Whangarei or walk the one-hour Hatea loop starting at the town basin.
