We arrived after a long flight and a drive from Christchurch and were very pleasantly surprised at how nice and homely this cottage was. It is well appointed, everything works and is easy to use. For us it was a very good place to recover from the trip and start our holidays. The owners live in the house next door, we had a couple of friendly conversations and felt that everything we needed was taken care of without there being any intrusion.

Located on the edge of Twizel, Foehn Cottage offers boutique style accommodation with free WiFi access and free parking.The chalets boast 2-bedrooms, a patio and a fully equipped kitchenette. Twizel Foehn Cottage is 6 minutes' drive from Lake Ruataniwha and 10 minutes' drive from Lake Benmore. It is 20 minutes' from Ohau. Aoraki and Mount Cook National Park is 40 minutes' drive away. All accommodation offer an outdoor dining area, laundry facilities and a private bathroom with a shower. Each have a flat-screen TV in their master bedroom and a flat-screen TV in the lounge area.
