Located at the top of a hill overlooking the Tinui Food Forest, and the original homestead for what used to be one of the main farms in the area. The cottage is surrounded by trees, and the bird life is wonderful. The Tinui Food Forest is set in 4 acres of mature food forest and provides a fun and educational adventure for the whole family to explore. Staying with us gives you open access to explore the food forest. Lose yourself in the living willow maze! Sit in the hop tepee, or the other living willow furniture- including the world first unique living willow chaise longue. The friendly farm animals are always happy to meet up. Hand feed the alpaca and hang out with the goats, pigs (including Ralf and Peaches the kunekune pigs), cuddle with the goats, and check the chooks for eggs! We have Starlink internet with a 40 inch TV with chromecast. Shared swimming pool is available for guests. One of New Zealands favorite beaches - Castlepoint Beach is 15 mins drive away.
