Amazing place to stay. It has everything you need, from a well stocked kitchen, clothes airer, kids toys. It's makes stying there so easy and relaxing, especially if you have kids, they always love someone else's toys! Gina the host is amazing, very accommodating and helpful, especially as each year we have stayed we have left kids togs etc behind! The accomodation itself it lovely, great peaceful location, beautiful surroundings.

Watch the sun rise over the mountains from this stunning hill top location with panoramic views of the ocean of Tasman Bay and beyond. We are secluded in a lovely rural setting of orchards, vineyards, and pasture. The cottage is totally self contained, quiet and private. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool to themselves at any time. There are outside patio and garden areas with tables and chairs and loungers for sun or shade. Warm and cosy in winter with underfloor heating throughout. The cottage is well set up with everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing holiday. Indoor and outdoor toys, games, and DVDs keep the children happy. Unlimited WiFi included. Highchair and portacot available.
We fell in love with Golden Hills and built our dream home on the hill. Its great to welcome guests to this special place and we're happy to help with local knowledge and ideas for places to go, activities and recommendations. We appreciate living in such a wonderful area and especially enjoy the various festivals.
A perfect base to make the most of everything the region has to offer. Just minutes away is Rabbit Island with a golden beach, BBQ and shaded picnic areas. Mountain walks, river swims, cellar doors, award winning restaurants and the Great Taste Bike Trail are all on the doorstep. Three of the South Island’s iconic National Parks are an easy day trip; take a boat on the pristine waters at Abel Tasman, or an alpine walk at Nelson Lakes or an adventure in untamed Kahurangi. 10 minutes from shops and restaurants in Richmond, 25 minutes to Nelson city and 45 minutes to Abel Tasman. So much to explore with something for everyone, even a ski field!
