Karioi View is a renovated 1940’s bach oozing charm and cosiness. The bright exterior & cottage garden will welcome you into this family friendly bach. 3 vibrant bedrooms, dining area with cosy window seat, modern bathroom where you can take a bath under the skylight and watch the stars, huge deck & master bedroom where you can wake up to uninterrupted views of the majestic Mount Karioi. Karioi View is a unique find and sure to make your holiday in Raglan one to remember. Karioi view dates back to the 1940’s, and is packed full of character and original features. The bright green exterior and original door will welcome you into the warm kitchen/dining space. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for you holiday feasts with oven, cook top, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and all the essential cookware. The cosy dining space has a gorgeous window seat allowing the whole family to gather and eat together. The kitchen space opens up to the large living area with a wood burning fire, heat pump/air conditioner and TV. The large corner window gives a beautiful view of Mount Karioi and peak-a-boo view of the Whaingaroa Harbour. The colourful theme continues into the bathroom and bedroom 2 located off the living space. The bathroom has been beautifully renovated with the highlight being the skylight over the bathtub, where you can bathe and watch the stars. The large shower also boosts 2 shower heads plus the large double vanity makes the most of the space. Leading down the hallway here is Bedroom 2 located at the front of the house, with a queen bed and a vibrant yellow theme. Heading to the back of the house you will find Bedroom 3 with bunk beds, large wardrobe with it’s own heat pump/air conditioning unit.

And in the best location of the house you will find the Master bedroom, fitted with a king bed and it’s own heat pump/air conditioning unit. The highlight in this room is without a doubt the large windows and doors looking straight out to the incredible view of the 2.4 million year old volcano of Mount Karioi, known to locals as Sleeping Lady (Wahine Moe). A laundry room with tub and washing machine completes the indoor space. Outside, the large deck with BBQ, wooden dining table and chairs and cape cod chair provide the perfect entertaining space for you to cook up a feast after a busy day exploring and relax with the family, while the kids can explore the fully fenced garden.
