Featuring thermally heated pools with a swim-up bar and cafe, large outdoor screen, children’s jumping pillows and 2 tennis courts, Lake Taupo Holiday Resort offers air-conditioned accommodations with electric blankets and heating. Lake Taupo Holiday Resort is a 5-minute drive from Taupo town center and a 10-minute drive from Huka Falls. Orakei Korako Geyserland is a 30-minute drive away. Facilities include free gas BBQs, shared laundry facilities and a TV room with 42-inch satellite TV. Guests can try petanque, volleyball, basketball or pedal karts. Mountain bikes are available for hire. All accommodations includes a toaster, electric kettle, refrigerator, microwave and kitchenware. There is a small shop on site which sells basic provisions such as bread, milk, coffee, ice cream and chocolate.

The Lusty family have owned and operated the Lake Taupo Holiday Resort since February 1996 and they haven't stopped improving the resort since the day they took over. There are still heaps of plans in the pipeline, so watch this space.... you'll need to come and see for yourself...!

Lake Taupo Holiday Resort is a destination in itself with a spectacular tropical style, geothermally heated pool with a swim-up bar plus café. Located 5 minutes from Taupo centre and sprawled across 8 hectares of park land, the resort offers comfortable, clean accommodation ranging from Villas & Self-contained rooms to cabins and sites for your campervan, RV, tent, or boat. Extensive, modern facilities include free gas BBQs, WiFi, an on-site shop, and shared laundry facilities. Entertainment facilities include New Zealand’s first pool with a swim-up bar and café, a play area for kids, and massive outdoor television. Two jumping pillows, volleyball, basketball, indoor games, an adventure playground plus much more also feature at the park. Mountain bikes and go-karts are available to hire. A short drive to popular attractions, the resort is a great base for your greater Taupo adventure.
