Manakau Lodge is situated beautifully between the ocean and the mountains. Janice was a wonderful and gracious host, helping me with dinner recommendations and reservations, offering to drive us there, showing us walking trails nearby and providing us with fresh eggs for breakfast. The lodge is just perfect. Clean, beautiful, and had all the perfect “touches”. The sunrise that morning was incredible.

Located in a peaceful rural setting among groves of Manuka trees and at the foot of the Seaward Kaikoura mountain ranges, Manakau Lodge offers luxurious guest rooms with free WiFi, free movies and music entertainment.
