Hello, we would like to share our lifestyle farm and protected wetland with you. Meet our friendly sheep Billy, Bobo and BamBam our Kunekunes and other farm animals such as our family of Alpacas. Take a walk around our protected wetland, watch the sunrise beside the Ōpaoa river and view the many species of birds that call this place home. We like to think that we are not just a place to stay but a unique New Zealand experience.

We are Jamie and Joanna, we welcome you to stay at our paradise, Opaoa River Sanctuary! We love having people enjoy our place as much as we do. We are experienced travellers and enjoy living a more sustainable life. we cannot wait to meet you :)

We are situated at the end of the road, farmland is all around, when walking around our wetland and lifestyle farm, there are lovely views of the hills, on a clear day you can see the North Island. The area has lots of trees and birds of all kinds.
