osedale Cottages are two separate, fully self-contained, sunny, cottages. Compact, modern, furnished and decorated to the highest standard. Each cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps up to four guests on one queen and two king single beds. All towels and linen supplied. Fully serviced. Owners on site. Full double glazing Heat pump for cooling in summer and warmth in winter Satellite Freeview TV Blueray DVD player Full kitchen facilities: fan oven, gas hobs, microwave, fridge A shared area with chest freezer, iron and ironing board, and laundry with private clothesline area. Free wireless internet access Heated towel rails Gas hot water Laundry facilites Outdoor furniture Plenty of private parking for your boat or any other toys. Rosedale Mascots Our two lovely, short haired, miniature Dachshunds, Daisy and Syd, were homed in 2014. The fur babies soon learned to greet clients at the cottage gate, knowing there would usually be lots of love and cuddles. So they unintentionally became the Mascots of Rosedale. Unfortunately, Unfortunately, we recently lost Syd. It was a very sad day for us all, including Daisy.
Hosts : Debbie and Dave We enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, nationally and internationally. Living next door, on site, we are always on hand to help if needed. We are happy to provide tourism suggestions for sightseeing locally and nationally. With our visitors we go the extra mile plus some. We, along with our miniature Dachshund Daisy, want to give you a real taste of what it’s like to live in the Mackenzine Basin. We look forward to sharing our beautiful country with you.
Our boutique accommodation is situated in a quiet, peaceful location on the edge of Twizel, the nearest town to Aoraki/Mount Cook. Set back off the road, Rosedale Cottages have stunning views of the Ben Ohau range and Mount Cook. It’s only a short walk into town, where there is a good selection of cafes and restaurants, grocery and convenience stores, walk tracks, swimming holes and golf course. All nearby. Twizel is an alpine village situated in the playground of the magnificent Mackenzie high country, about 45 minutes from Aoraki Mount Cook. It’s the ‘watering hole’ between Tekapo and Omarama on your way south to Queenstown.
