It is a really nice and quiet hostel with a cosy community area. It's easy to meet new people The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable Showers and toilets are clean The kitchen is well equipped, and the free breakfast is a very nice addition (thanks for that) A bit outside of the town centre. It's a 10-minute walk to the next supermarket and a 15-minute walk to the Interisland Ferry terminal. I didn't mind walking.

Situated in the centre of Picton but a 15-minute walk from the noise of the Interislander Ferry Terminal, Sequoia Lodge Picton offers free transfers to and from the ferry terminal. Relax outside in a hammock or in the movie theatre with Netflix and DVD's. Laundry facilities, BBQ facilities and a tour desk are provided. A free continental breakfast and hot homemade soup is available in the evenings in winter (from 1 May until 31 October.) Guests can stay in a private room with en suite bathroom, including bath towels and free toiletries. Dormitory rooms are also available, with female-only options for guests. Sequoia Lodge Backpackers is a 10-minute walk from the EcoWorld Aquarium and Edwin Fox Maritime Museum.
