We loved the location of the Millimium being waterfront and...
We loved the location of the Millimium being waterfront and so handy to great cafes shops boutique breweries amd galleries which all we tried were found to be exceptional. Plus we loved the direct access to the board walk to the port past an impressive swimming pool complex then later walked along the pathway in the other direction the Fitzroy beach which had a cafe and outdoor setting on the beach. The whole city seemed safe and attractive and a great place to visit and probably a great place to live.Girvan - 10Scored 10

Good sized room and ensuite. All absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Useful facilities. Nicely positioned off the main road so nice and quiet but close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. Not too far to coast with beaches and coastal path. Friendly and helpful owner with a good knowledge of area and enthusiasm when recommending things to see and do.angelaUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

At first wasn’t too sure about New Plymouth but the more we walked around the city the more we liked it. It’s a very tidy city with lots of amazing murals painted on buildings, tidy and clean with every shop you could think off. It is handy to the foreshore and a beautiful walkway and within a few hundred metres from beautiful Pukekura Park on other side of township, a must visit.

Pukekura park and bowl of Brooklins were outstanding Our prime aim was to visit family Flamingo motel we can highly recommend Walkway along the foreshore is a credit to the city Enjoyed the activities happening at the waitara river mouth Sea was magnificent Mountain made a stunning appearance too Cafe can Morley and devon gr8 coffee Locals on tukapa gr8 food and coffee

We love that New Plymouth is easy to get around and offers so many activities for all age groups. Being a three Generation Family Group we were all able to find / do something. Be it as a Group or age appropriate. We came to see the light show Which was Awesome and to see what else the area has for travellers, having been there once before ,we enjoyed it enough to return and it did not disappoint.🌻🚶🚴🏌️🏔️🌳🌤️🏄🏃 RobynRobynNew Zealand

There was a small block of shops within a short waling distance but you would need a longer walk or take the car if you were looking for a supermarket. It was on a main road but it wasn't noisy. Beds were very comfortable and linen was clean. The room had a spa bath but the press switch for the bubbles did not work. It was still nice to have a bath, especially after a day out walking/hiking.LindaNew Zealand

We had everything we needed and more. Thank you so much for having us at your home. We had a wonderful holiday and we’ll definitely look to stay here again in the future.

I can honestly say Ratanui exceeded all of the above. The setting is peaceful, host exceptionally friendly, the grounds are beautiful and our villa was modern, impeccably clean, well appointed and the bed was so comfortable and cosy we didnt want to leave. Thank you so much, these weary grandparents are rejuvinated.

Staff are always friendly. Hence why I stay at the Devon when i come to New Plymouth. Might not be right in the city center but close enough.
