We had a wonderful stay. Having spent 3 weeks exploring both the North and South Islands this was the perfect end to our holiday and by far the best accommodation. Lovely and can’t wait to return.

Sovereign Pier on the Waterways is a 5-star Luxury resort delivering great holiday experiences second to none. It is a contemporary development reflecting style and class. Villa's include spacious Master bedrooms with Ensuite bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes. 2 & 3 bedroom Apartments have an additional bathroom. Designer granite kitchens with full laundry facilities. This 2 hectare property has 1, 2 & 3 bedroom waterfront suites. Some have patios with fenced courtyards, others with stunning balcony deck areas. The complex includes swimming pool, super-sized spa pool, tennis court and a gym. Boat berths, and kayaks are for hire, in a fully gated 24 hour secure complex. Boat trailer parking is available.
Our ultimate goal is to provide you with a unique and enjoyable holiday experience, second to none. If you leave relaxed and happy, wanting to return again, we know we have succeeded.
Whitianga and the Coromandel are home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. Peace and tranquillity can be found relaxing on our beautiful white sandy beaches, & walking in our lush native bush forests. You can't miss a scenic walk to the famous Cathedral Cove, Hahei or New Chums Beach. A soak in our therapeutic Geothermal natural mineral pools called “The Lost Spring”, digging your own hot spring pool at the surfing beach called Hot water beach, or sampling world class wine at Mercury Bay Winery, or boutique beers at “The Pour House” Coromandel Beer Brewery. Or enjoy a simple stroll along our footpath running the full length of picturesque Buffalo Beach or though the many art galleries and designer dress shops in the town centre. When the evening arrives, we are spoilt for choice with local seafood cuisine being offered by many world class restaurants with views to die for of the estuary and Buffalo beach.
