Pete was a very friendly and welcoming host. Very quiet and scenic spot at the end of the Kaikoura penisula. Close to walkways and Seal colony. I didn't vist these on this occasion as I was tired and weather was cold and wet. But great location on a good day. Itr's an old homestead on a farm with a campsite as well.

It is a short drive or a 15-minute walk from a range of Kaikoura restaurants or a 5-minute walk from a seafood BBQ restaurant.
