Unbeatable choice of a place to stay; I really wish we could stay longer. Our host was extremely kind and helpful, and gave us great tips for dinner/breakfast/visits. The apartment itself is fabulous, as the description says. Very comfortable, well-functioning heat pump, spacious, etc.

Ideally located opposite the Picton marina its luxurious & spacious with 5 rooms, nice views, a breakfast bar, 3 table settings, air conditioning & heaps of modern kitchen & laundry equipment & you will love the super soft lounge suite & glorious kingsize bed in the master bedroom. It uniquely features an elevated poolside patio which overlooks & morphs into an enticing spa, large pool & fully equipped gymnasium set in pretty garden plots & designer decking which awesome amenities are exclusively for your private pleasure 24/7. Free fast & unlimited Wi-Fi, free Netflix, free Sky/Cable TV, free car parking & free transportation to & from the Ferry Train or cruise boat service is provided. Conveniently its an easy stroll to town along a stunning marina board walk & a cute beach, many great walks, boat cruises & bike tracks are also near-by. Our fabulous apartment quiet neighbourhood convenient location & awesome private amenities will immeasurably enhance your stop-over or holiday experience.
Barry & Cora are dedicated hosts & delight in meeting guests and introducing them to their fabulous apartment & unique private amenities (spa pool gymnasium & garden). Fortuitously they also live next door & are therefore always available to answer any questions help or assist should the need arise. Their favourite walk to town is just across the road along the stunning Marina boardwalk and ‘coat-hanger’ bridge an easy stroll past pretty Shelly Beach & the cruise boat wharfs. Whether your stay is for a few hours, days or weeks Barry & Cora will happily share their local knowledge of the many exciting and inspiring places to see & visit in Picton the heart of the iconic Marlborough Sounds. They are also food buffs and will willingly assist you with harbour view or other restaurants to suit your taste. Barry & Cora also provide a free pick up and return transportation service for the 2 minute drive to the Picton rail, ferry terminals & cruise boat wharfs should you be without a car. They pride themselves on being super hosts.
Our neighbourhood adjoins the Marina is tranquil & quiet with a backdrop of beautiful bush covered hills. The stunning Marina boardwalk is just across the road & provides an easy walk to town past pretty Shelly Beach & whether you dine out overlooking the Harbour, take one of many stunning walks, cruise the iconic waterways or simply go fishing, swimming with dolphins, kayaking or biking you will find relaxation & inspiration within walking distance of our apartment. Heres a few ideas; 1 Picnic or swim at pretty Shelly Beach just across the road from our apartment. 2 You can get up close and personal with Blue Penguins, Seahorses, Turtles, & Ancient Tuatara by visiting EcoWorld Aquarium & Wildlife Centre near the Inter Island Ferry Terminal. 3 There are beautiful walks from the Marina just across the road, ranging from 10 minutes to several hours & a must do is Tirohanga Track one block away which is a 45 minute treat through stunning bush with panoramic views of Picton & The Sounds. 4 For history buffs we have 2 Museums (Edwin Fox & the Whaling Museum) along with a short wander along the Karaka Point Walk (10 minute drive away) with its historic Maori Pa sites to explore.
