The Greytown playground and a large park are also just five minutes walk up the road. The Greytown-Woodside Trail is nearby and ideal for cycling and walking, and if you fancy tasting some of New Zealand’s finest wines, 20 minutes in the car will have you in Martinborough where vineyards, trendy shops and cafes await. Also, the new winery in Greytown, Alexia, opens their tasting room in October!  Family holiday, girls weekend, or just an escape from the rat race, Unter Den Birken waits to host your stay! Walk along the strip and gather locally made goods and produce for a picnic by the river, or head out for a 5 kilometre cycle along the Greytown-Woodside trail.
