We had a lovely few days at Divers' Paradise and would heartily recommend it to anyone staying in Bocas. The room was well appointed and clean. Location excellent (5-10m walk from the water taxi stop, 10m to the main strip, 15m walk to the airport). Great food and service at the restaurant.
Sadly didn't have time to dive, but they seemed very well managed (staff, equipment, etc) and I hope to dive with them in the future.

This place is stunning. Our room had a balcony overlooking the bay which we could watch for hours, you might spot dolphins! Right from the start Feder and Remo couldn’t do enough for you, extremely helpful with anything you need, days out, boat trips etc. Every single meal is amazing, it’s all fresh produce from their garden or local and you can really tell, I think they should do a recipe book because I’d buy it!
The surrounding grounds are beautiful, the trees and palms are stunning and bring in wonderful birds.
If you feel this is too quiet one day Bocas is only 30 mins by boat and any day trips are available. We’d love to come back one day, it’s a bit of paradise.
Thank you Remo, Feder, Yu and Marcus.

There is road construction EVERYWHERE.
There is road construction EVERYWHERE. We had no problem with their shared taxi, which means you will have several people squeezed in with you, going more or less in the same direction, but with the construction, many times your cab will not be able to reach your destination. This is Mexico 40 years ago.

Charming tourist town with friendly people and great choice of restaurants. There was a lot of construction and construction noise on the Main Street during our visit which prevented us from exploring the whole town.

If I was 25 and wanted to drink all day, it might be the place for a vacation. Lots of bars and clubs. I food is ok if you can get pass the barkers in the street. If you get out of city central, you can find some lovely beaches, but they are packed with people. We stayed in town for 5 days and two days on an out Island. Be prepared for many of the three- and four-star hotels have no AC. I have traveled all over the world; this would be on the bottom of my list. They haven't taken care of the environment or the waters that bring people to this location.

Be sure to wear the right shoes walking around Bocas Town,...
Be sure to wear the right shoes walking around Bocas Town, as it can get muddy and there's currently construction in town for a new sewer system. While the locals can be a bit assertive and follow you around offering you tour options (and drugs), they'll back off if you say no thanks. Do not drink the tap water and ask for filtered water stations (I also stuck with beer & wine versus mixed drinks with ice). A group from my hostel rented E-bikes which was the right choice to visit Bluff Beach, which made for a great afternoon.

Right now the streets are under construction….
Right now the streets are under construction…. And I mean ALL the streets. It’s tough on the tourism industry for that reason. There may not have been as many people visiting as there normally would be at that time of year. However, don’t let that stop you from going. It’s a fantastic place to visit. So much to se and do. Excellent restaurants.

Bocas del Toro is an overestimated island, public infrastructure is awful, with mud, and potholes everywhere, very difficult to walk and get anywhere. Prices of the hotels and restaurants are slightly exaggerated in my view.
This place is stunning and filled with charm. The first thing that struck us was the genuine hospitality of the staff. From the innkeeper (Marco) to the friendly fellow travellers, there was an immediate sense of camaraderie and as such we ended up spending a lot of time on the property sharing a few beers and watching the ocean. Also it's close enough to Bocas town that you can walk, but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of the caribbean ocean, great combination.
Oh and not to forget the best breakfast in Panama!
This is an amazing hotel that stands out as one of the best that we ever stayed at all over the world. The location is amazing right on water and in an area that is quieter than bocas town yet close enough by water taxi. Snorkeling can be done right at the hotel where you can see a lot of beautiful fish and even starfish. The owners are amazing and so helpful in figuring out the best activities. Breakfast is delicious. Rooms are updated and very beautifully decorated.
I checked into Hotel Bocas Town… a charming 4-story boutique hotel overlooking both the main street and the ocean. It was a warm welcome and exactly what I had been hoping for. From the moment I walked in, I was enamoured with it, and the lady who ran the hotel was nothing short of delightful.
I liked it here and I got a good vibe. My bright blue room was everything beach boutique should be. Inviting. Likeable. Cute.
I was enchanted.
It was good feels.
Super friendly staff and owners! We felt very welcome and cared for. Spacious and very clean room with a big balcony. We had booked 3 night but ended up spending 8 nights here. It is located in a village with locals in a very non touristy part of Bocas, but still only a minute away with boat taxi from bocas town. If you want to surf the smaller waves on Bocas and not take a boat there, this island is the place to stay, and this hotel is a great place!
First said: It‘s a really nice place!!! The location is stunning! It‘s just reachable by boat! They pick you up when you arrive and you habe your own hut on the water!! You can snorkel right there underneath! Equipment available at reception, not in best conditions but alright! The huts are really cool! you have so much space to hang around that‘s really cool!!
most of the staff was suuuper friendly!! the guy offers help if you want to book a tour!
This family run accommodation is amazing value for money with two kitchens, friendly & very helpful staff and right on the water with its own pier for water taxi collection. The accommodation has lots of tables and hammocks for relaxing and is very close to local restaurants and a small supermarket. It is a beautiful 20 minute walk through the jungle to get to Wizard beach and a short water taxi to Red Frog beach and Isla Colon.
Very clean (even hallways and stairs were cleaned frequently) well maintained (everything seemed freshly painted or stained), a\c worked well. Location on the waterfront, close to water taxis and restaurants. Bocas Town is a busy place so not the quietest area but we preferred the convenience since we were only there for two nights. Staff were helpful and friendly. Nice waterfront bar. Breakfast was decent.
It feels like a hotel - pure luxury hostel vacation! Stayed in a 4-bed dorm first which had quite a big bathroom. Every bed has a curtain so you have your privacy despite sharing the room and also an own ventilator, plugs and a little shelf.
Location on the water and the fact that it is bundled with a diving center. The best place for divers as you literally walk out of your bed on the dock to take a breakfast, get all the gear and hop on the diving boat.
It's a great location right near where the water taxis come and go. The woman at reception was friendly and helpful. The room was a bit basic but clean and accepable. For Bocas Town it's pretty good value.
We stayed here for a couple nights as my husband booked a dive at their shop and we wanted to be close to Bocas Town to go out at night. The hotel was clean with a lovely restaurant and very pleasant staff.
The room was spacious and clean. The other areas of the hotel were also clean. Location is on the water very close to the water taxis. Checkin staff was excellent.
Breakfast menu has multiple choices.
A retreat from the noise of Bocas town where you are enchanted by the sights and sounds of the jungle.
The food was delicious and the staff were exceptional. I would return with friends and family.
Wonderful host, amazing fresh breakfast every morning! Loved the location and the quiet just across from Bocas Town. Wonderfully comfortable bed, cold A/C, everything you could want.
Wonderful Caribean building with terrace on the water. Huge open lobby, well equipped bar. Enthusiastic young equipe, solid manager. Life music in the evening. great atmosphere.
The hotel is right in the Bocas town center, super close to everywhere. The room was very nice and clean. I can definitely recomend this place. Excelent value for the money
