I do not know much about the area, but we got in after dark and still were able to order food on PedidosYa and get money out at an ATM. This town is fairly characterless, with one, long central road through without any obvious centre. Taxi fares while cheap, did vary quite a bit, leading to some unpleasant moments when we felt overcharged.

The pool is clean and refreshing in the heat and you can have drinks and snacks beside the pool. We are digital nomads and the wifi was excellent for our needs, including uploading video. The rooms are spacious with quality linens, comfortable beds and pillows. The amenities provided are very good. The breakfast has a good range of food. It was all fresh. I truly can't say enough about the staff and how friendly and accommodating they are, it was a huge help for me during a very long trip. Very clean facilities all around. The rooftop bar is terrific, the menu and food are great, as well as the cocktails. Mini split in every room, which you really need when it only gets down to 80 as a low at night. I cannot recommend Rua Hotel anymore highly! Thank you so much!
