100% recommend Zarela’s. The owner was wonderful. She had wonderful recommendations on places to hike and good restaurants to eat at, along with just being a fun person to talk with. She was there at 6am to let me in and give me my room after an overnight bus ride to Huaraz. She even makes you a full French press of coffee every morning.
