It seems to be a fairly new hotel, so everything still looks good. The rooms were clean and the showers were nice and hot. The staff was friendly and helped us with getting the correct rooms and let us leave our belongings there after checkout when we travelled to Machu Picchu.

The hotel sent someone to meet me at the station what was great as I would never find without it, but a super plus was that I could leave my bag while visiting Machu Picchu, they were super kind to take it back to the station before my train

Machu Picchu was completely abandoned for nearly 400 years.
Machu Picchu was completely abandoned for nearly 400 years. There are no know written records of who built it, what it was used for or the part it played in Inca history. The guides are totally speculative. They have good stories..... but completely from their imagination. Do your homework and prepare for the visit.

It might seem almost heretical to not give MP top marks and to admit I planned too much time there, but it is really only the sanctuary that is worth the visit (for me). Had I been up to the mountain climb then another day would have been worth it. It is probably best to arrive the night before, get up early to visit in the morning, then leave after lunch.
Overall, I may have been slightly underwhelmed as it was a rubbish day, overcast and a bit drizzly so the views were less than ideal. Also even taking the bus up to the sanctuary there is still al lot of climbing and at that altitude...!
The hotel is along the river. We were pick up from the train station. The bed is so comfy. There was ni heater but the duvet warms you for real. You can hear the sound from the river but with the windows closed, it is more tolerable if you can’t sleep with this type of sound. I prefer this nature sound that’s why I booked it. The place is clean. Haven’t tried the breakfast since we had to leave super early for MP. Aguas Calientes is a small town, wherever you are is walking distance. But the hotel is really close to the bus station.
They do pick you up at the train station when you arrive to help you with luggage. Walking distance to the hotel. Very quite at night even when it is right downtown. The bus that goes up Machu Picchu is right outside our hotel. Breakfast is good on the 6th flood with a great view of the whole town. Surrounded by lots of restaurant and massage places. Good reception who help me with printing out the ticket up Machu Picchu and also where to get the bus tickets. Free hot water and coco tea leaves. GReat view from our room.
Hotel was in a great location, easy to reach the Machu Picchu way up from there either by bus or by foot (we walked and it was great). The hotel staff met us at train station, we received packed lunch for our trip as we left early and missed breakfast. The next day we had breakfast and it was really good. View from the window was very amazing. It is not a modern hotel, but for where you are in the heart of the mountains, it's good to be humble and appreciate that such facilities are available.
This hotel is very pleasant for a stay in Aquas Calientes. They pick you up from the train station and walk you to the hotel (with umbrellas, if it's pouring!). They provide you with great information about Machu Picchu, and don't try to upsell any guiding/services. The breakfast is very good value- you can customize based on eating preferences. The hotel is very convenient to the Thermal Baths, and not far from the main heart of Aquas Calientes.
Fantastic quirky hotel on the edge of the main square. Excellent location for everything in Aguas Calientes, bars, restaurants, MP bus and station. Rooms were large, clean with balcony and really good shower. Breakfast served from 5am to suit travellers to MP with fruit, breads, eggs, juices, cereals and hot drinks. Staff friendly and efficient couldn’t do enough to please their guests.
The location was excellent, there's a walkway at the front of the hotel by the water with many restaurants and bars. At night this area is quiet although you can slightly hear the bass of music from the main square throughout the night. The bed are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The hotel were happy to keep our bags while we went to machu picchu the following morning.
Great hotel near the train station. Beautiful, large and comfortable room with the balcony. I loved the bathroom with the shower and bathtub. The roses on my bed made me smiling :-) Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very rich and tasty. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Machu Picchu. Fully recommended.
A short walk from the busy center of town. Just 5-minute walk to the train and bus station. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. Hotel next to the river. They stored our luggage for us while at Machu Picchu. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant was a nice relaxing place to eat and get a drink.
The hotel was within walking distance to the train station and they kindly kept our luggage until we could check into our room. Our room overlooked the fast flowing river which was amazing . The breakfast was great and the room overlooked the river as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful!
Great location and great staff. They were able to accommodate us in our stay especially as my girlfriend got sick and she had to stay behind at the hotel for the day. Breakfast was convenient and well crafted. And we had a nice view facing the river and the mountains so that was great.
The hotel is very near the train station and offers a comfortable room space to spend your night when you want to visit Machu Picchu. It was also nice that the receptionist came to pick us up at the train station. But that was almost all for the positive points of this hotel
We booked two rooms and one had a small balcony with the river view- it was nice. The breakfast was pretty good. The property locates close to the hot springs.
The representative met us in the train station to show us the way to the hotel.
Excellent location near station, bus stop, shops, restaurants etc. great breakfast on 7th floor with Mountain Views. Reece went above and beyond to help and serve and he came to the station to walk us to the hotel.
This was a comfy hotel in a fairly quiet place in Aguas Calientes where everything is within 3 mins walk. Rooms were big, clean and relatively modern. It felt like we generally got our money's worth.
Hands down the best view i have ever had at a hotel. The amenities were clean, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Aguas calientes definitely stole my heart.
