It was a great place to visit since everything is still new, however, some cultural parts were missing due to the flodding amont of Koreans business around the island. I lobe eating side street vendors to tase the local food and around Newtown Mactan community area, there is a great food court for local food and east to order. The beaches on Mactan Island are pretty much all private and the couple of tiny public beaches are unpleasant. Make sure you book accommodation with its own private beach because otherwise you will have to travel quite far and/or pay to access other sites to use a beach.

For our previous trips to Cebu, we were booked usually at the center of Cebu City. I reay wanted to stay at a Mactan location for this trip. The LapuLapu Shrine is really great, with helpful historical context highlighted. For mere pennies, tourists can ride the public jeepney to the LapuLapu Shrine. We rode a public bus to Moal Boal an had an unforgettable time swimming with sardins. And the Airport is huge and appealing to the senses. I'm glad to have more of Mactan in this trip. I would recommend Sempre to my travelling friends.

Reason again why i like the location of the hotel is just right across the airport since i have to take a domestic flight to Mindanao.You can leave your stuff there the moment you arrive and you can just take a cab and explore the city and not to worry about getting caught up with the rush hour Cebu City traffic.You can go wherever you want and come back in the evening or night and not worry about not catching your flight on time the following day.Great experienced at this hotel,can’t wait to stay there again.Cedric CharlesUnited States of America

The hotel itself is not flashy or pretty, just basic. The city that it's in, Lapu Lapu, and the street its on, is very poor 3rd world vibe even though the people are nice. Cab, tricycle, rental car and street vendors regularly overcharge or keep the "change".
