Great weather. We live in Subic, so the cool weather was refreshing. Difficult to get around in Baguio by car. Very congested city. Taxis were easy to get from where we stayed, but once we traveled to different parts of the city it took my wife and her friends to wait over 45 minutes for a taxi, or if they could not wait any longer had to take Jeepneys to get back to the condo. We had other friends staying at a different place near SM Baguio. After waiting almost an hour for a taxi, the taxi line was crazy, it took them 25 minutes to walk back to their hotel.

Weekend traffic is so painful and disappointing, but manageable in some ways. Too commercialized. But still I love going to Baguio. Getting around will be much easier if there's no heavy traffic. Should have a restriction with the plate nos. so road is much easier to travel. Eating out is also pretty amazing, because you can have anything you want depending of what you want Baguio has it!

We wanted to see the rice terraces but turned out to be a 5 hour bus ride away. Burnham park was ok but not a lot else to do in Baguio but eat and drink! Not easy to get around, have to use taxi and at weekend very hard to get! Gets cold after dark 6pm (down to 9 degrees when we were there) and only reached 22degrees at the highest.

Cool temps, but …. Way too many people!
Cool temps, but …. Way too many people! Restaurants could care less if you are happy or not . Endless supply of hungry visitors and locals. KFC had only 1 kiosk working and refused to manually take orders ? Last choice as ALL other fast food restaurants were mobbed. Jollibee just randomly quit serving and only takeout was available. I asked why ? Couldn’t clean their tables I was told ? Endless taxi lines . Locals knew the tricks to dining and travel … visitors… well good luck .

Baguio has a high influx of domestic travellers causing the...
Baguio has a high influx of domestic travellers causing the steep increase in accommodation prices that are more expensive when compared to accommodations in western countries.
However, the accommodations are of inferior quality - towels so thin, for majorities of the accomodations, there are no room cleaning service unless it is a hotel, only one toilet provided and extras are supplied on request, toilets do not flush properly, no hand towels provided and towels are not changed at all, showers lack pressure and heat, accommodations lack TLC - mouldy toilet tiles, cracked tiles and floors , musty smell in rooms, lack of toiletries and vanities /shelves for personal items - there are always something wrong in the accommodations. Baguio is building more accommodations for tourists but failed to improve/upgrade facilities to international standards - there are a lot of rundown buildings, they charge entrance fees to tourist sites within the former US military based but no improvement to see and the toilet facilities are dismal, wet and dirty floors, no flushes, no toilet paper, same in botanical garden where you queue too long to pay for an entrance ticket then they still charge you 8 pesos to use a dirty toilet facility, extreme and chaotic traffic conditions do not make your vacation pleasant, roads are unsafe for foot traffic, what only makes Baguio a standout is its cool climate and hospitable people and nothing else to rave. Better go to Bali, Indonesia and spend half of what you pay for in Baguio but with better, cheaper, quality facilities.

The hotel is a 3 star with services of a 1 star.
The hotel is a 3 star with services of a 1 star.
Absolutely the worst service we have ever received
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone
Also they only have Philippino breakfast and my
Philippino family members said it was cold and nasty
We booked a Premium Park room in November 2023 which had a really good view of Burnham park. It was huge and had a tub. The hotel is also literally a minute walk from Good Taste restaurant and has a Watsons store beside it. Breakfast is tasty. Drinks were self service and served with plastic cups for juice and water and paper cups for coffee
We only paid around Php7K for 2 nights which is cheap given the location and the size of the room. I don't think I would stay here again given the cockroach situation I experienced.
The location is very good, just near Burnham park, Atonement Cathedral, SM City Baguio, and night market. The outside side location has lots of stores and walking distance to Baguio market, The location is safe I saw lots of policemen walking up too late at night in the area. Quiet at night. The water heater is working fine. Blower and extension wire are available. The unit handler JL is very accommodating, informative and makes sure everything is good. Happy staying in the place.
First and foremost, it’s the VIEW, then the staff. Security will go out of their way to call a
cab. Pictures can’t do justice to this amazing boutique hotel! This is authentic Baguio city. My family stayed for three nights at HE and had plans of visiting back as soon as we were about to leave. Their breakfast buffet has many choices and changes daily. I can’t say enough of how much my family enjoyed our stay at Hotel Elizabeth. It made the five hour trip from Manila worth while.
Great hotel for visiting Baguio city, Burnham park is only a 15 minute walk away. Or a couple minutes by car. You can park in the car on the slope in front of the hotel. Be careful as it is a little steep.
Polite staff and clean rooms with a nice view of the Baguio houses as seen from the balcony.
Their restaurant must be very good, although we didn't try it. The smell coming from the kitchen was pretty good indeed. It's a true recommendation when visiting Baguio city.
Location was great. The name of hotel clearly defines the place, probably one of the best sunset spots in Baguio. Day and night also have astounding views.
The place was cool compared to other areas in the city.
Rooms are clean and beddings are changed regularly.
There's a restaurant with a variety of food choices so no need to go out and buy foods.
There's a lot of spaces to hang out. Good for people working online.
Breakfast was goo - you get plated breakfast from a choice of Filipino breakfast options. The room and hotel decor is also very modern and sleek which is great for the hotel's price point - similar hotels would have decor and amenities unchanged from the 70s. Location is also very good, 5 min walk to SM Baguio and Session Road. Staff was very good and accommodating. Check in and check out was a breeze.
the location was good. our window has the best view so far in my entire stay in baguio to date. i like that the parking was not an issue with security guard too and the staff was so accommodating in our request. they also adopted so many cats that you can play with and for sure the owner has a good heart for allowing them in the vicinity of their hotel coz i love cats too :)
The location is located along a road where there's not too much traffic. The surrounding is quiet and offers the tourists a taste of life in Baguio because it's not a hotel. There's a restaurant, bars, a cafe, and a convenience store around the area too. The establishment has its own bar and a welcoming reception area. It is simply perfect accommodation.
Maganda ang location ng hotel na to. Hindi ka mahirapan mag commute if ever na wala kang dalang car. Also, very helpful naman ng mga staff nila so kung di ka familiar sa vicinity, they will guide you and give out recommendations like for us na first timer sa Baguio. May mga food places din nearby. Hotel wise - wala kaming naging issue.
Location is great. Very near SM and UP Baguio. Very reliable internet. The food in Voyager restaurant is a bit pricey but very delicious. The staff are all courteous and very accommodating, El Cielito is now my favorite Hotel in Baguio.
The room was clean and the size just enough for 3 people.
The location was convenient as we needed a place nearest the Baguio City Hall.
It was also good that there are affordable and recommended places to eat near the hotel.
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Holiday Inn is an international brand and it is clean, cozy and comfortable abroad and even in Holiday Inn Manila.I will never stay in this Baguio hotel ever again.
The location is excellent if you want to be away from the bustling city or if you're just simply a person who loves a quiet place. The price is very cheap for 2 days with a good room for 1.
The room were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Baguio!
