The hotel was exactly as shown in the pictures, since we visited during the winter, it was deserted and quite. The staff were great, and the sauna / pool was a nice place to spend the evening after a cold walk. The breakfast was good and up to expectations. Also, we were upgraded from a garden view to sea view room, which was awesome....Thank you.

A beautiful city, the polish people we met were super helpful and accommodating. The polish language is hard to learn but people made their best attempt to speak to us in english. Our dollar went a long way. The city was super clean and completely safe. We want to comeback for Christmas.

This is a beautiful area of North Poland - Sopot is squeezed between the hills and the sea, so road access is challenging. But, once there, it is a charming city: historically a spa area, now a coveted place for relaxation for locals and foreigners.

Sopot town is absolutely the best choice when planning holidy in Tri-City area. The spa town atmosphere gives it special vibes. From Sopot you can easily walk along the beach to Gdynia (Orlowo beach). From the pier (molo) there are daily cruises to Hel (must-see), to Gdansk (must-see) and touristic cruises around the coast. Moving around the Tri-City by train is also simple, the train goes every 15-20 minutes. Sopot offers lots of restaurants, bars and sweet shops, all places provide great quality and great service. Next time I definitely want to rent a bike for the whole day and explore the area towards Oliwa valley as the trails are well developed. Simply a place that you fall in love with!

Fantastic beach, great for children of all ages.
Fantastic beach, great for children of all ages.
Very busy main street at night time.
Many restaurants with good food and friendly, englishspeaking staff.
Do not miss the Project cafe, for cakes and drinks
If the weather is not too hot: nice walk to the archeological museum. Outdoor exhibition. Friendly staff showing weapons and way of life in Sopot in the Middle ages.
Very kind host lady, willing to help/advise with everything. Great located flat - away from busy/noise in quiet corner of Sopoty, but still in ideal walking distance to beach or city centre (10-15 minutes by walk). Parking in street next to the flat free of charge. Size of flat ideal for couple or single travellers (with dog). Nice flat/good equiped - mainly living room/bed room part and bath room. Small shop in upper part of the street (approx. 300 m). Hipodrom reachable by car in 10 mins.
We stayed 3 nights in a double room in January. Great time during our stay.
We liked the breakfast. Quality of food was really good. The dark bread was delicious. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel.
Hotel location near the beach was perfect for us.
The gym area is really spacious. The Sauna area as well. Especially the required booking times for sauna for hotel rooms makes the sauna area really comfortable and a private relaxed experience. That's great!
Maria the Receptionist was a friendly, and very helpful person. Excellent in
explaining the parking situation and how to use the keys for the rooms. When I was checking out she offered to carry my bags to the car, which was lovely 😍🌹 I must admit, because in Poland, in small hotels like that NO one will ever do that and She did!
Overall the reception staff were very friendly and kind always greeting with a smile 😊😁
Very good location though.
When we booked the hotel, we occasionally learned that this is a 1 star hotel and were scared about it. However, we found everything is good: perfect location, i.e. just 50 meters from the beach, very responsive staff, always willing to help, rooms are small but very clean, including the carpet (this is often not the case in higher rated hotels), kettle, tea, coffee, fridge in the room. Good café, some facilities for kids tom play.
It was the second time we were coming back to this hotel and this time was even better than the previous. The rooms had been updated. The staff was polite and attentive to the details. Breakfast as usual on a great level! I love the calm area around the hotel as well as the relaxing Spa zone where it's great to start or end the day.
We had a wonderful time, spending a very important day for my family. Big thanks to the staff!
This is a very quiet and comfortable hotel in excellent location. Rooms are simply excellent. You can hear birds and sea waves every morning, what else could you dream of? Breakfast selection is not huge but it's more than enough, and everything was delicious. There's a big and very good fish restaurant right next door. Sopot marina is a 15 min walk via the beach.
Hotel Meduza exceeded my expectations. It is extremely close to the beach, room was small but nice and extremely bright and clean and the most important, staff is very very friendly. Hotel provide chairs for the beach, kettle in the room. I stayed before in Sopot in more expensive hotels with I liked less. Excellent quality-price ratio.
hotel is new, clean and PET FRIENDLY!! I believe the dog beds and water dish were offered. It was clean, breakfast bar had excellent selection of food to accommodate various needs and was clearly marked Lactose free etc. Their Spa offers so much that is it by far our favorite place.
It is a nice little gem! I was on a writing vacation over the May holidays and was able to work and enjoy walking on the beach that is just steps away from teh hotel. The bbrakfast was outstanding, just what I needed to work in the mornings befor egoing out in the afternoon.
Very clean, comfortable apartment with everything you need for a short (or longer) stay. Nice walk to the beach via mysterious forest and also short walk to downtown Sopot. Very good communication with the owner 😊
wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again! 😊
The location of the hotel was fantastic. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach and it’s sectioned off for Haffner. Also about a 10 minute walk to the pier. The Spa was phenomenal to include their staff! The front desk Staff was also very friendly and helpful.
Close to beach and not so far from molo but far enough from noise of night life.
Owner is awesome. Offered us beach umbrella, bath robes, bicycles for free.
There is even decent equipped kitchen.
Matrace was the best I ever found in any hotel.
- Room size was adequate.
- Sauna facility was pleasant.
- Massage jet feature in the brine pool was quite nice.
- Sopot mineral water from the tap in each room.
- Location by the beach and away from the touristy area was wonderful.
1) Quite close to the beach (20 min walk). Also close to the nearest railway station Sopot Wyscigi (10 min walk).
2) Clean rooms and friendly staff.
3) The room had access to a small garden which was very nice.
The hotel building, facilities and rooms are nice, and the people working there are generally friendly and helpful. The location is nice, close to sea/beach and within walking distance of Sopot centre.
the location to the beach and short walk to shops and amenities. the hotel is undergoing renovation which was fine. they were offering breakfast next door which was of very high standard.
