Hotel Opera, hotel in Sopot

The elegant 3-star Hotel Opera is located only 150 metres from the famous Forest Opera in Sopot and within a 10-minute walk from the popular Monciak promenade. The Sopot Pier is 1,7 km away.

Forested location about a kilometre from the hustle and bustle of Sopot, which is easily walking distance and no need to look for parking. Quiet, relaxing and nice walking trails, to walk our french bulldog. We saw many wild boar in the forests nearby, who have lived in the area for generations. This hotel used to be a hunting lodge over 100 years ago. The room was of a reasonable size and the bed comfortable. Great entertainment area to play billiards and have a drink. Spa/Sauna very nice, steam and dry sauna available. Buffet breakfast very tasty, also loved the eggs benedict and eggs vienna. The location is overall meant for the next door ampitheatre, but suits any visitor to Sopot.

Hotel Pomarańczowa Plaża ex Bursztyn, hotel in Sopot

Located directly by the beach, Hotel Pomarańczowa Plaża ex Bursztyn is surrounded by an extensive, private pine forest and offers free Wi-Fi, a garden, a sun terrace, sea views and a big private...

The expensive breakfast consisted almost only of polish specialities, which is nothing for me, so the lack of more international variety it was a disappointment.

FAQs about hotels in Sopot

A Green Coastal Wonderland

Sopot is a green coastal town in northern Poland that will fascinate you with its beautiful parks, landscaped gardens, Art Nouveau houses and golden beaches. This famous holiday resort is home to the longest wooden pier in Europe and an old iconic lighthouse overlooking the city.

Providing cruises to the nearby cities of Gdansk and Gdynia, Sopot has long sandy beaches with lounge chairs and parasols. Thanks to its climate, the stunning architecture and relaxing spa facilities, it is considered to be one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Poland.

The pier is an ideal place for a nice walk to admire the Baltic fishing boats and the playful white seagulls. Known for the Sopot International Song Festival, it is also the right place to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities like sailing, windsurfing and skiing in Tri City Scenery Park during the winter months.

Situated on the main street of Monte Cassino, Crooked House is a strange building inspired by a children’s illustration. Another extraordinary attraction is Forest Opera, an open-air theatre in the middle of a lush forest.

Booking.com will help you find the right hotel, apartment, guest house or hostel in Sopot or in the area around Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport.

A beautiful city, the polish people we met were super helpful and accommodating. The polish language is hard to learn but people made their best attempt to speak to us in english. Our dollar went a long way. The city was super clean and completely safe. We want to comeback for Christmas.

This is a beautiful area of North Poland - Sopot is squeezed between the hills and the sea, so road access is challenging. But, once there, it is a charming city: historically a spa area, now a coveted place for relaxation for locals and foreigners.

Sopot town is absolutely the best choice when planning...

Sopot town is absolutely the best choice when planning holidy in Tri-City area. The spa town atmosphere gives it special vibes. From Sopot you can easily walk along the beach to Gdynia (Orlowo beach). From the pier (molo) there are daily cruises to Hel (must-see), to Gdansk (must-see) and touristic cruises around the coast. Moving around the Tri-City by train is also simple, the train goes every 15-20 minutes. Sopot offers lots of restaurants, bars and sweet shops, all places provide great quality and great service. Next time I definitely want to rent a bike for the whole day and explore the area towards Oliwa valley as the trails are well developed. Simply a place that you fall in love with!

Fantastic beach, great for children of all ages.

Fantastic beach, great for children of all ages. Very busy main street at night time. Many restaurants with good food and friendly, englishspeaking staff. Do not miss the Project cafe, for cakes and drinks If the weather is not too hot: nice walk to the archeological museum. Outdoor exhibition. Friendly staff showing weapons and way of life in Sopot in the Middle ages.

We booked for 5 days but we ended up extending another 2 days. The owner offered us a slightly larger apartment to allow us a bit more space as a family. It had all we needed to spend a week there. It was very clean and had a lovely patio to the garden where we spent some time in the warm sun. There is also an underground garage, laundry, and bicycle storage. For those who want to cycle around Sopot, this location has access to bicycle paths to the beach and the town.
