When I go to a mountain resort at the end of February, I expect to see white. It was green. This was just a recce for skiing next year. I won't return here to ski. And walking up Kasprowy Wierch was a nice day, but the slush underfoot says that it's a no go ski area. Beautiful town. Not for skiing.

Its a lovely city with amazing surroundings, the only problem is that we all would expect a heavily snowy landscape in January, but the climate change has its impact, so its a luck if you will have snow or not, especially in lower altitudes.

Ideal for skiers and non skiers.
Ideal for skiers and non skiers. Family friendly with plenty to do. The hike to Morskie Oko was amazing, we got the bus from Zakopane. We also went over the border to Slovakia to do the spectacular Treetop Walk at Bachledka. Lovely city with spectacular Mountain View’s. We would return. The Gold Hotel had an amazing restaurant. Just near Bory bus stop. Try it! The pierogi were outstanding!
The property has excellent facilities, including a decent small gym and a very comprehensive spa area, with swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzis. The breakfast choice is also extremely wide, so there is something for everyone. The location of the hotel is very good - just a two-minute walk from Krupowki and all the shops and restaurants. Also, the current temporary bus station in Zakopane is only a five-minute walk from the hotel, so getting to the mountains for trekking is easy. The atmosphere in the hotel is always relaxing and restful.
Cosy hotel in beautiful Zakopane. The views were breathtaking, the receptionist was sweet and helpful. I recommend you book a room with balcony and mountain view, you will not be disappointed.
Slightly out of the central area, but we already knew about that and it was made very clear when booking that it is not close to the centre, it was only a 30 minute walk to Krupowki and about 8 minute drive by (very cheap) taxi. That being said, it is very close to the skiing resort 2-5 minute walk.
A very traditional Polish mountain house set on the main road into Zakopane but we still needed a car. Very comfortable beds for 5 but the one of sofa beds was very small indeed for two people. Very clean and easy to arrive and depart, with plenty of car parking. A small Carrefore express only 500 meters away. The skiing areas were a drive away and we were unfortunate with the lack of snow fall so we had to drive further to Bialka resort. The thermal baths were fantastic at the Aquapark.
Perfect stay with family. Apartment was large, very clean and fully equiped.
The location is also very convenient, in the centre of Zakopane.
Customers must make the reservation for using spa and pool and due to restrictions, certain number of people are allowed to use it for one hour.
Breakfast was good, although not much space as for a hotel large like this. We had breakfast at 7 a.m., and still was very crowded.
Location was good - very close to the Gubalowka and Zakopane center.
Hotel provides extremely great continental breakfast including traditional food as cottage cheese, smocked cheese and local salats. We have also enjoyed spa (2 saunas and the salt room) + fitness facilities + a room for kids.
The apartment was clean and spacious with fully equipped kitchen and a big bath.
Nice Location and walking distance to the main street (4 minutes) and public transportation. Best part of the Room was mountain view. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials. Hotel room was clean, very comfortable. Reception staff was quite helpful and they speak English and polish. Will be back to this place soon..!
Location is excellent. ZAKOPANE Bus station and Krupowki street in just 5 mins of walk away. Gubalwoka ticket office just 10 mins of walk away.
Very good breakfast and hotel room was neat ,and clean. I would recommend to others.
Just keep in mind there is no lift so you would need to carry your luggage to your floor
The place is amazing. So cozy like in fairy tale. Little bit outside main part of Zakopane but this is huge plus. Very cool design, parking is there. Harenda ski area just 5-8 minutes by car. Beautiful views from the balcony! Can’t beat it. WiFi was great you can do work
Great place to stay in Zakopane!
We have been with a dog here, and could leave her in the room, which is great opportunity! because you can’t take a dog in this national park on hike.
Very various and tasty breakfast, good spa and pool. We absolutely love this place.
Very tasty and hearty breakfast. The hotel is near to the town centre and is lokated on a quite street. The main Ski Lift of Zakopane is near to the hotel, but during my stay it was closed, so I used Polana Szymoszkowa, it's rather far from the hotel.
Super place i guess the best hotel in Zakopane. Lot of arab community from GCC. Located 15 minutes from the center and alot to do . Check in was easy i get free upgrade. Breakfast was quite expensive.
Breakfast was good, rooms are nice and clean. Hotel is located 17 minutes walking distance from ski resort and 15 minutes walking distance to Krupowka street in Zakopane. Very friendly staff.
The hotel was beautiful, clean and the location couldn't be beat. The staff was very, very helpful. We also appreciated having coffee in the room. The spa was also a wonderful experience.
Nice couple who manages the property. Rooms are spacious, area is quiet. Great location to be between hiking areas, thermal pools, and Zakopane. Plenty of parking space.
