Beautiful place, fantastic food.
Beautiful place, fantastic food. Lots of trips you are able to book when you're there like parasailing, fishing, jet skiing, dolphin watching, visit the caves, there's a waterpark nearby, beaches are beautiful and clean. It was perfect for a family holiday and we had great weather while we were there.

Marina was quiet in March but in the summer I imagine it could be hectic. Large selection of restaurants, all similar menus and prices. However the service and food was good in the few we went to. Plenty of staff

Vilamoura is a nice resort, we had not been there before, most activity at night is centred at the marina, where there are loads of restuarants and bars to suit everyone. Beach was lovely I would go back again, but definitley not to the apartment we stayed in , the apartment itself was fine but not the location or the very old run down building it was in. I would not recommend it to anyone .

Great location with fantastic restaurants around the Marina and the streets behind. Easy to walk everywhere, plenty of shops and supermarkets in addition to local businesses. We loved the atmosphere and the warm welcome in bars and restaurants. Weather was constantly warm and sunny, average 26 degrees for 1st 2 weeks in October. I Cesteiro fish restaurant were we had turbot as a favourite, along with The Fisherman’s Shack, Rodizio & Sal & Fogo, all amazing food and service

I have stayed in Vilamoura many times and simply love the place and its vibrancy, great restaurants and bars. I would personally recommend one bar especially to visit and that is Als Bar a very high standard and great drinks with stunning bar area with a superb host namely Al. This bar is just off the Marina behind the road where the taxi rank is situated in a square with 4 restaurants in the vicinity.

Vilamoura is picturesque.
Vilamoura is picturesque. A marina surrounded by lots of places for socialising ie restaurants, bars, coffee, ice cream, shops etc. It also has a beautiful long sandy beach, as found in many Portuguese resorts. There are all types of accommodation available from 5 start hotels to Air B&B etc. I would say this resort is a little more expensive (to eat out etc) than other resorts in the Algarve. It’s very easy to get around on foot, plenty of taxis too if required. This was my 2nd visit to Villamoura. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and might consider going back, but, it would not be my (personal) first choice of resorts in Algarve.
Good value for money the hotel room was basic but very clean stayed for 7 nights towels changes on day 3 bedding was not changed at all throughout the stay the food in the oasis bar was excellent we didn’t have breakfast but the salads and club sandwiches were great good value for money. There are a few bars 5mins away .Graces bar great breakfast .had a great meal in the evening there. The marina is great free curtesy bus from the hotel .had a great meal News restaurant they do happy hour 15.30 to 18.30. A visit to the old town is a must.
Had a lovely stay, the hotel was lovely. The staff were amazing and so friendly and accommodating. It was nice and quiet due to time of year but weather was hot and the pool area was great. The breakfast in the morning is really nice, self-serve cooked breakfast, cereal, fruits, fresh pastries. Isn’t far away from the marina and things, Spar shop a 6 minute walk away. It’s set in a nice area too. Didn’t want to leave.
This property is beautifully decorated to a 5 star standard and just a 2 minute walk from the elegant Vilamoura Marina. It is managed by the most professional and kind host Kinga who made us feel so welcome during our stay. She has so much knowledge about the Algrave region and gave us lots of restaurant recommendations that did not disappoint. We really look forward to staying here again in the future!!
Villa Girassol was exactly the property we were looking for. We travelled to Vilamoura for a family wedding and wanted to make sure we were all together as a family rather than booking a hotel. The location was ideal with no problems getting an Uber or a Taxi into the marina at night for dinner. It was also a lovely walk to the Marina in the mornings. The facilities in the villa were exceptional.
Excellent staff, very helpful, Patricia in guess relations, and the friendliest porters. Best location, right on the marina, this is the hotel to stay in! Great facilities. We stayed in a Premium room overlooking the marina, beautiful view, then we were upgraded to a suite with a sea view - what a view!
The breakfast was lovely. There was a lot of variety very tasty. The location of the hotel spectacular we had a beautiful view from our apartment room the pool Was beautiful and so clean the Jacuzzi was lovely and actually warm . There was only a short walk to the marina close to the shops.
The hotel is right next to the beach.
It's is away from the hustle and bustle of the marina, about a10min walk. The old town of Quateira, with a bit more traditional restaurants and price, is a pleasant 18min walk. The swimming pool towel system is a good one.
Location the best thing about this apartment right on the marina and so so spacious and comfortable! Really enjoyed our stay there and everything was great. All the facilities we needed for a long weekend stay. Would definitely stay again.
I had stayed at Dom Pedro Marina and Portobello hotels before but the Dom Pedro Vilamoura is definitely the best of the three. The quality of everything is just that bit higher than the other two. The location is an absolute winner too.
The apartment is amazing! Very beautiful, clean, bright, modern! The best location in Vilamoura - right on the marina! Very comfortable, safe and easy free parking! And the host is very kind and friendly person! We loved that place!
Price was fantastic, excellent location 2 mins from Marina, great restaurants outside the entrance. Regretted having booked a hotel for remainder of holiday. Will definitely stay here if I return to Vilamoura.
The apartment is designed and equipped intelligently. Good use of space, very comfortable.
The location is perfect. Just off the center of the marina, not too noisy.
Great location stunning marina view from the balcony, good choice for breakfast, stayed only for B@B. Extremely helpful/polite staff, would definitely stay again.
