I recommend staying at Blue Moon Guesthouse and making it your home away from home while in Lagos. We received a warm welcome from José upon our arrival. José immediately checked us in despite our early arrival. Our room and ensuite bathroom were spacious, and, our room included a small fridge. Blue Moon also provides some additional amenities like a good sized patio for relaxing outdoors, a well equipped kitchen with a larger fridge for guests, and a sitting area with a tv, books, etc. The location can’t be beaten because everything was within walking distance. Finally, we really appreciated José providing us with the names of 3 restaurants, which we tried and loved, as well as with a list of some things to see around Lagos. He also ensured he was there to give us a warm send off. Thank you for a great stay!

Located within the historical walls of the city of Lagos in the Algarve region, the Blue Moon GuestHouse is a 5-minute walk from the Batata, Estudantes, Pinhão and D. Ana beaches. Free WiFi is available throughout. This guest house offers comfortable rooms with flat screen TV, alarm clock and private bathrooms with hairdryer. Guests have access to an interior patio where guests may sun bathe or enjoy their meals. In the communal lounge guests will find a TV, a variety of books, games and access to the internet. The Blue Moon GuestHouse provides a daily cleaning service. A communal kitchen is also available where guests may prepare their own meals or enjoy tea or coffee. The staff will gladly store your luggage if you arrive before check-in. Blue Moon GuestHouse is a 15-minute walk from the Lagos Train and Bus stations and features plenty of restaurants and bars in the vicinity within walking distance. The staff will gladly help guest book activities like tours to the grottoes and kayak tours. Bicycle rental is available. The Sagres surf spots are a 35-minute drive while Faro International Airport is 56 mi away.
