Laid-back Suburban Beach Resort
Cascais is a small city located on the outskirts of Lisbon. Once a fishing village and defence outpost, the royalty transformed it into a stylish summer resort. Mixing beautiful beaches, elegant mansions, imposing fortifications, and a wide variety of hotels, Cascais is a great option for every season.
King Luís II used the city as his summer residence from 1870 to 1908, attracting other celebrities, and changing the destiny of the tranquil village forever. Modern roads and railway lines linking to Lisbon and Sintra were built, as well as a casino and other facilities. Some of the best hotels and 5-star resorts in Cascais date back to these times.

I am very disappointed.
I am very disappointed. The apartment is nothing like the photos...old and smelly. Very low maintenance to the property. There was a mole at the bathroom and a lot of Flys at the bath and washroom. The smell was awful of some very harsh cleaning liquid mixed with mole smell. They just took a very poor condition apartment and painted everything in white but it is still old and smelly ...painted the mole as well but you could still see and smell it

I love Cascais!
I love Cascais! There are many things to do here and nearby locations too. Great restaurants, shopping, beautiful parks, nature walks, cafes, museums, outdoor markets and not far from Cascais are the palaces of Sintra and even a Moorish castle. There is a train station in Cascais with trains that go directly into Lisbon in about 25 minutes. Without hesitation i recommend a visit to this beautiful city. I think you will love it too!

was with my son's family, they live there. the wheel made a point, not far from Cabo de Roca, good choice in food that caters for most tastes. You can walk in the tranquillity of the place and it is not far from Lisboa

Cascais is a beautiful area.
Cascais is a beautiful area. Easily one of the most prettiest places we have stayed in. A beautiful beach, shops, restaurants and an array of beautiful buildings. Easy to pop on the train to Lisbon which took 40 mins and worth the few euros it cost. We visited in Nov so the weather wasn't hot but we had a lovely warm breeze plus a few showers but you expect that at that time of year.

The villa was amazingly beautiful, accomodating, tranquil and it location is beautiful. The villa had everything we needed. The host Flory was an incredible host. We will definetly stay at this Villa in Cascais again when visiting this area. We loved everything about this place and its location.

When some people see "close to the train station", they imagine a slightly dirty, busy area - not so in Cascais - the road where this hotel is situated has boutique shops, trendy cafes and across the road is a Hugo Boss store. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and comfortable, as pictured on the booking websites. Not sure what laundry detergent they use but the room smells like a soap factory, in a positive way!

They offered us free parking because we had kids (this usually costs 10€ per day). The service was really good. Our room was comfortable and my baby for once was able to sleep in his crib 😀. The location is just perfect, at the city centre of cascais. You don't even need a car you can walk to almost everywhere. The "boca do inferno" is close to and a great park for kids to play. The staff was very helpful and courteous, with a nice pool and sunbathing area, and the breakfast is excellent. However, what lets the hotel down is the ensuite bathroom is tired and appears dirty. The bathroom needs refurbishment which is disappointing as this is not a cheap hotel. They provide a complimentary drink on arrival and a turn down service.
