Our first impression of the Hotel was 'Mariana' who gave us a very warm welcome. She showed us to our room & then assisted my husband in parking the car, she really could not do enough for us. Thank you Mariana.
The room was great, with the most amazing view.
Breakfast was great, as were the staff at breakfast.
Location of the hotel was ideal for us too.

Beautiful fishing village with real Portuguese flair.
Beautiful fishing village with real Portuguese flair. We have been there three times in the last 15 years. My wife's favorite and dream place. The city is slowly going through a transformation and is becoming more touristy, but we can't judge that hardly since we were always there before or after the season. On the weekends, we noticed a little negatively the many tourist buses that flooded the city for an afternoon.

Nazaré is beautiful.
Nazaré is beautiful. It's a great place to chill and watch the sea. The beach is wide and clean. All the restaurants and bars in the area (that we tried) were great. Shopkeepers were kind and helpful. Be sure to get up to the Lighthouse and check out the Surf Museum. Super cool. It's 2eu to get in and totally worth it. The views up there are awesome. Seriously, I have not one negative thing to say about it.

Nazare was wonderful. I wear accommodations were great.
Nazare was wonderful. I wear accommodations were great. Gil the manager was amazing with us. In fact my friend left her coat in the closet. When they cleaned the room he found it and sent me messages and mailed it to a spot where we could pick it up. That was amazing.
The apartment was adorable It was perfect for our purposes the view from one bedroom of the ocean was amazing. The view off the kitchen balcony was great and we could see the ocean as well. This is a perfect apartment for two people sometimes for.
I would certainly book that again if I were to be in that area. Thank you

Quaint little town with local vibes, great for a few days visit. It was very chilled and quiet and surrounded by beautiful forest. Cuisine is mainly fish and seafood, though there are plenty of Italian and meat places. Also choc a block with gelaterias!!! We caught Carnaval and it was fun to see the cavalcade and the locals dressed up.

What I liked best was seeing the big wave surf contest.
What I liked best was seeing the big wave surf contest. There were these amazing and huge 20-50 ft waves that arrived in sets located near the lighthouse on the cliff at the North Beach while I was in Nazare. The beach was also very nice and wide both north and south of the lighthouse. The sunsets were spectacular, and I enjoyed watching the sun set while drinking wine and people watching at the little beachside restaurants. I also enjoyed walking down south to the marina and going north to the surf museum at the lighthouse on the big cliff in the town of Sitio. The local bus only cost €1.50 to ride from Nazare (near the central market) to Sitio where the lighthouse is located. The traditional food (seafood) was really fresh and I liked that the tradition of fish drying that is done by the fish ladies was still being practiced.

Great beach but the real action is on the hill in Sitio...
Great beach but the real action is on the hill in Sitio where there are the great surf waves to be seen in the winter months and the very impressive display of surf boards and photos of the guys who've surfed the world's biggest waves in Nazare,
Great little hotel in a busy little square just off the beach. Excellent location, clean and comfortable. The little communal kitchen area was very useful. There was a bad storm while we were there and we loved watching the rough sea from the balcony and from the roof. Breakfast was in the cafe just across the square and was lovely - fabulous Natas! Parking is tricky in Nazare but I was advised by the hotel of a couple of free places to park and was very easy and only a 5 minute walk
This was such a great find - lovely hosts and comfortable lodging. We travel a lot and were pleasantly surprised to find this last minute. This place is a gem! The room was impeccably clean and well-appointed. The breakfast was the best we had in Portugal - absolutely delicious! (and I'm a picky eater :) We also appreciated the history and the wall photo of the host's parents. The hosts also gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. Nazare is special and so was Sweet Dreams.
Room and bathroom were very clean. Comfortable beds. Rm 303 was cosy with a great view to Nazare beach, a one-minute walk away. Many restaurants in the area. Good wifi. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They had reserved a parking space for us (very important even though it's the end of November!) and walked with us to the spot, insisting to carry our small bags. Heating was fast, efficient and much appreciated on a very cold, wintry night.
It was awesome stay at Nazare. The apartment is 1 minute from the beach, 10 minutes from funicular to the upper city center with stunning view. Any kind of food is minutes away. Stuff is so positive and welcoming, helping with every question we had. The place itself is in best condition.
It felt like home. Definitely going to book again when we back to Nazare to see waves!
Beautiful hidden gem, close to everything you need in Nazare! I loved how pretty, clean, comfortable and well-designed everything was. The host is also incredibly nice and cares deeply about offering you a great stay. The private terrace and the pool area were great additions to the tiny houses, I loved hanging out there.
Best place of my 1-month trip to Portugal
The nicest place we stayed at during our short trip in Portugal. We considered staying another night! The host was incredibly understanding, and made our stay in Nazare awesome. Thank you very much Cristiano!
Very close to the Rede bus station, it was a very convenient stay. The neighborhood was quiet. The terrace patio made for a relaxing coffee.
Good location with a wonderful view over Nazare. Also a very well-equipped apartment with everything you need. Very clean apartment. Especially lots of blankets that made the evenings comfortable. Nice terrasse with easy access from the kitchen and living room. Short distance to the beach and Continente shopping.
Excellent communication. Great location. Very clean. Perfect for our short stay. Restaurants and beach within a 2 minute walk. Easy to find. Will be using home sweet praia the next time we go back as we loved nazaré. Old Town feel about it. Really really good. Probably my best short stay trip. 5 star all round
The location was great, right on the ⛱️ beach. We went for a walk to Sitio. The funicular wasn't working to get there. Nobody said Portugal was flat. Very nice old Town. Nazare had many restaurants to choose from. Walking along the beach was nice. Pictures of the room portrayed it perfectly.
Absolutely! The host was very nice, the guest house was clean, tidy and cozy! The cafe near has got the best risotto and octopus in Portugal, it’s called Esmeralda. Definitely recommend the guest house!
Lovely hotel, helpful available staff, spotlessly clean, our car was safe in Hotel Mare’s nearby locked garage! Terrific location to beach, restaurants, funicular. Enjoyed bedroom balcony!
On the beach with beautiful views and a good restaurant. Hotel room was modern and had multiple balconies. The location was also easy walking distance to shops and other restaurants.
