The location was absolutely amazing, the ocean was a sight to see. We booked the basic room which didn’t have the sea view but was spotlessly clean, which suited us for out two night stay. The staff were always cheerful and made you feel welcome. Breakfast was included which was plentiful although we had some issues.

Lovely old grand dame type hotel. Beautiful layout and architecture with a large pool. A decent hotel but representative of Estoril, it’s ok but don’t expect too much.

Cascais is a small city located on the outskirts of Lisbon. Once a fishing village and defence outpost, the royalty transformed it into a stylish summer resort. Mixing beautiful beaches, elegant mansions, imposing fortifications, and a wide variety of hotels, Cascais is a great option for every season.
King Luís II used the city as his summer residence from 1870 to 1908, attracting other celebrities, and changing the destiny of the tranquil village forever. Modern roads and railway lines linking to Lisbon and Sintra were built, as well as a casino and other facilities. Some of the best hotels and 5-star resorts in Cascais date back to these times.
Nowadays, the town is a cosmopolitan beach retreat along the Estoril Coast, where people from Lisbon and other Portugal cities come for a day or weekend escapade. Many foreign tourists prefer its more relaxed hotels over the sometimes hectic Lisbon atmosphere.
Don’t miss the Citadel, rebuilt during the 16th century in a typical star-shaped Renaissance style. Other attractions include the Museum of the Sea and the ‘Paula Rego House of Stories’.
Beach hotels are the gem of Cascais and you can find a wide range on Booking.com. Check your availability with enough time in advance, as the city remains a popular summer destination.
I am very disappointed. The apartment is nothing like the photos...old and smelly. Very low maintenance to the property. There was a mole at the bathroom and a lot of Flys at the bath and washroom. The smell was awful of some very harsh cleaning liquid mixed with mole smell. They just took a very poor condition apartment and painted everything in white but it is still old and smelly ...painted the mole as well but you could still see and smell it

I love Cascais!
I love Cascais! There are many things to do here and nearby locations too. Great restaurants, shopping, beautiful parks, nature walks, cafes, museums, outdoor markets and not far from Cascais are the palaces of Sintra and even a Moorish castle. There is a train station in Cascais with trains that go directly into Lisbon in about 25 minutes. Without hesitation i recommend a visit to this beautiful city. I think you will love it too!

Cascais is a beautiful area.
Cascais is a beautiful area. Easily one of the most prettiest places we have stayed in. A beautiful beach, shops, restaurants and an array of beautiful buildings. Easy to pop on the train to Lisbon which took 40 mins and worth the few euros it cost. We visited in Nov so the weather wasn't hot but we had a lovely warm breeze plus a few showers but you expect that at that time of year.

The villa was amazingly beautiful, accomodating, tranquil and it location is beautiful. The villa had everything we needed. The host Flory was an incredible host. We will definetly stay at this Villa in Cascais again when visiting this area. We loved everything about this place and its location.
Location could not have been better: two minutes from the station and five minutes to the nearest beach. When some people see "close to the train station", they imagine a slightly dirty, busy area - not so in Cascais - the road where this hotel is situated has boutique shops, trendy cafes and across the road is a Hugo Boss store. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and comfortable, as pictured on the booking websites. Not sure what laundry detergent they use but the room smells like a soap factory, in a positive way!
I Loved it. You won't regret lodging here. They have very friendly staff and ready to help. They offered us free parking because we had kids (this usually costs 10€ per day). The service was really good. Our room was comfortable and my baby for once was able to sleep in his crib 😀. The location is just perfect, at the city centre of cascais. You don't even need a car you can walk to almost everywhere. The "boca do inferno" is close to and a great park for kids to play. HOTEL BAIA ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ THANK YOU
The location is excellent right on the beach while also in the centre of the town - the location is excellent. The staff was very helpful and courteous, with a nice pool and sunbathing area, and the breakfast is excellent. However, what lets the hotel down is the ensuite bathroom is tired and appears dirty. The bathroom needs refurbishment which is disappointing as this is not a cheap hotel. They provide a complimentary drink on arrival and a turn down service.
The excellent experience started in the check-in with an amazing staff team. The room decoration was very nice. We stayed in a triple room, in which all beds were top quality (comfort) and the room very beautiful.
The breakfast was enough diversity and the scrambled eggs were better than in many 4 or 5 stars hotel
I stayed.
The location is very central in Cascais, and close to the commercial, food, service, beach, and train station areas.
Everything!
The hotel is simply perfect, the room (we had a free upgrade) was perfect, breakfast was perfect.
Cascais is beautiful and the hotel is in a great position, close to the train station, beach and all the stores and restaurants.
Goncalo, who welcomed and assisted us during our stay was great, very friendly and helpful and offered many recommendations.
Definitely the best experience in a long time and we travel a lot!
Beautiful outdoor oasis, so many gorgeous flowers. Great deep pool for swimming or lounging. Staff were very friendly and helpful - in light of our air conditioning issue. Hotel location is about a 15 minute walk beachfront. The hotel has a 3 legged cat on the premise, we were told she stuck around from the previous owners. She is sweet, came into our room and didn’t want to leave.
We really enjoyed our stay at Senhora da Guia Cascais Boutique Hotel. The location was great, across the street from a great fish restaurant, and quick Uber ride to downtown Cascais. Staff was very friendly and professional.
A standard hotel in a very good location with good prices in off-season. Not a luxury hotel, but clean and practical. The only problem is the garage price at 12 euros per night. Some parking available outside at no cost.
The hotel is studied in every detail, the co-working and common spaces are really beautiful. The staff is very nice. The room is comfy, very nice and clean. Favorite thing: best breakfast we’ve had in Portugal
The beautiful garden is the perfect green oasis to relax and take a break from Lisbon. The boutique hotel has large rooms, is good value for money and is at 10 min walking distance from cascais city and beach.
the place is really amazing. It is the center of the center of Cascais. the hotel is very nice, beautiful halls, corridors, decorations. breakfast very good too, with wonderful views. room was very spacious.
We loved our staying in this hotel. Staff are very friendly, place is clean and the facilities are great. Close to the city centre and beaches. We definitely would recommend this place.
Great staff! Mara, David and Margarita were super helpful!! The BCascais teams knows how to take care of their visitors!!!
Great boutique hotel, excellent location and friendly people.
Beautiful outdoor pool area, very relaxing and the kids loved the kids pool and area!. A short walk from central Cascais. Nice, spacious, comfortable hotel rooms and hotel amenities.
perfect location with lovely views near to all the bars and restaurants. would class the hotel as 5 star. Spotlessly clean and very helpful staff. Highly recommended.
I love the staff that was so personable as well as informative. I loved the grounds the entire hotel has been made to be the focal point of the prestigious Cascais.
