Our places are family friendly, cozy, comfortable, refined with attention to detail. Simple, but full of character! Unique and different! Staying with us at our hotels, feels like resting under a tree in Madeira ... there is nothing more welcoming... The words from our statement are what we transmit to our guests during the visit that they do to our island and when they stay at our houses. We don´t provide a 24h00 reception service, but self-check-in is available. We look forward to meeting you to our Residencial Marizinha by Petit Hotels.

The Mariazinha guest house are situated in the heart of the Old Town in one of the finest places in the city of Funchal, 5-minute walk from the Mercado dos Lavradores, Forte de São Tiago, Museu da Electricidade just 10-minute walk from the Cathedral of Funchal.

Neighbourhood information

Its’ location is one of the richest in Funchal and where the guests can easily reach multiple destinations on foot. Barreirinha or Praia Nova sea resort is located a few minutes from the guesthouse. The fortress of Saint Tiago built in the XVII century, the Electricity Museum, the “Lavradores” Farmer market, the Cable Car, various bus stops and a public car parking is also available just a 2 minute walk from the Residencial. The central location of the proprieties means guests are a few steps away from a lively street of bars and restaurants, where one can enjoy a drink or a good meal.
