All the staff is super-nice and helpful and the breakfast they serve is delicious. And they also have really cute (and friendly) dogs! The location is perfect, easy walk from the main terminal, but also close to the river and the centre. I felt very safe in the hotel and in the area (as a solo female traveler).

Maybe bit outside of the city, but the city is so small, you can walk to the city center in 30 minutes maximum. The rooms were basic, but more than enough, with fresh cold water, a kitchen, air condition and a good dailly breakfast. Also the owner is really nice and helpfull, giving tips what to see or will make a laundry for you.

We have stayed in at least a dozen other hotels; we often travel to the city for the weekend. The luxury room has a real Jacuzzi tub, which is one of the only ones we have encountered in all of Paraguay. They have a heated indoor pool too, which was a great bonus on a cool day.
