A port city with a long history; visit the archaeological museum for interesting exhibits and maps. The central old town varies greatly in condition; some of the older buildings are being well maintained, others are gently crumbling. The architecture is an interesting mix of Art Nouveau and Transylvanian, with echoes of the Ottoman presence there.
Many lively cafes and restaurants on Piata Ovidiu. Good fish restaurants down by the leisure port. We liked Camarote for service and value.

Constanţa looks like a city which will be amazing after 2025. Summer of 2023 is not the right time to visit, as the whole city is torn up with buildings and roads being updated at scale.
Great restaurants, and atmosphere. Locals are very friendly and helpful towards tourists. FInding people who speak English is fairly easy in the tourist area, but venture outside of it, and you better be armed with google translate.
Prices are all over the place, you can pay between 5 and 50 for the same thing, so it's really hard to keep track of money. Can pay with card almost everywhere.

It's a small quiet town with nice views.
It's a small quiet town with nice views. It's easy to move around. The authorities take care of streets look neater and newer. However, the beach I visited could have been cleaner. I am not sure of the name of the beach, but it's quiet popular and to reach it you have to go downstairs for a few min.
This town is more suitable for a quiet rest with a family or your spouse. If you are looking for parties or active night life, I believe that Constanţa will not suit you.

Constanta is well worth visiting.
Constanta is well worth visiting. Only about two hours by train from Bucharest, the sea air makes all the difference. The old town is the place to go for restaurants, museums, and for strolls by the sea front. The rest of Constanta is less interesting, though there is a nice park with a lake, an amusement park and a couple of malls in the modern centre. For beaches it is best to head out of town to Costinesti or Vama Veche. The city beaches are nice for a walk out of season, but in the summer they are crowded and dirty.

Constanţa is full of interesting, Roman artifacts and sites, plus has excellent museums. The local restaurants are varied and good quality, too. The downtown is walkable, with a large square where cars are not allowed. The corniche along the Black Sea is well developed, also. We loved the Byblos (Lebanese) restaurant and a little deli with prepared food behind glass, where we ate on the downtown square.

Hotel Bulevard offer a good position for a complex visit...
Hotel Bulevard offer a good position for a complex visit program (not only beach) at a good advantage to cost report. Did exist many markets, gas stations and restaurants close to location.
Very good Reina restaurant at 5 min or Turksh restaurant, Barrel Pub and others at 10 min (with car).
The property is fabulous, starting from the building entrance, the garage and the interiors. Everything is spotless clean, extremely modern, secure and welcoming.
The apartment has absolutely everything one can imagine, luxurious and comfortable. The beach and the city center is within walking distance. The area is quiet and beautiful.
The checkin and checkout were smooth and Ms Ana made our stay excellent.
I will not stay anywhere else from now on when I visit Constanta.
It was our 2nd stay in Constanta this December after visiting for the 1st time in August and when searching for accommodations I knew I would like to ideally stay in this area so I was very happy to find this apparthotel as hotels nearby didn't have rooms large enough to accommodate our family and Maritimo offered a perfect alternative for us and at a great price. The place itself is as great as in the pictures. I can only recommend staying there.
A very nice and clean hotel close to the Maritime Academy and the port of Constanta. The room is spacious with ll the amenities needed. The breakfast is served in some cases in the room or in the nearby Irish pub. In both cases the breakfast is ok. The elevator is extremely slow and its more convenient to take the stairs. There is a super market in 75 meters, coffee shops in 200 m. and a lot of fast food choices close by
Value for money, but no staff interaction, no customer service, location is bit far away from both Mamaia and Constanta old town, no hot milk in the breakfast, even after the request they did not supply it. Staff was not knowledgeable, because they told me I can buy bus ticket on board which was not true. they were not willing to speak to us anyway.
Loved the staff, they were so friendly, polite and helpful. I used the cleaning service at the hotel for my clothes:washing and ironing and they did a great job. The room was exactly like the pictures on Booking.com .I totally recommend this quiet area that is so close to the Port of Constanta, The Delfinarium, the Tabacarie Park and even Mamaia.
The hotel is a very pleasant B & B, with excellent wifi and a good breakfast. But what makes it stand out is the quality of its staff. I was allowed to check in early, was able to leave my bags in the receptionist's office after checking out, and - crucially - found a bus to Bulgaria with the receptionist's help. Fantastic service all around.
The apartment is beautiful and has the facilities you need. The host is very kind. The position was very convenient for me (between Mamaia and Constanta). Both rooms are nice and comfy. It has 2 toilets, only one of which has a shower. The balcony is large, furnished, and you have a beautiful view of the lake. I'll be back.
Everything was awesome, the view, the facilities, the location. Host is a super friendly and amazing person that ensured we had everything we needed. He even offered us a late check out which was welcomed. I would say it's one of the best places we've stayed at in Constanta.
The location is near the train station, you can easily get to Casino Constanta with the car. There is an available parking lot in front of the building. Very clean. The host was very nice. You can cook, you have available dishes. Everything was perfect in my point of view.😉
the hotel is located right at the centre of Constanta. You can park your car close by at the public parking. Rooms are newly renovated, super clean and staff is very friendly and super helpful. All the equipment inside is very new and good. we enjoyed the stay.
This hotel is the place to stay in Constanta, Romania. Friendly staff who were helpful and cherful with every interaction. Free breakfast is great and they will serve it in the room if you need it outside of scheduled hours. Will be my go to place in Constanta.
Hotel Carol is one of the best hotel in Constanta! I am dedicated guest of the hotel! The Carol hotel is cosy with good amenity, friendly staff and perfect location! Breakfast is plentiful with exclusive coffee cooked by Gabi!
Very nice Appartment confortable and very clean, located next to a nice parc. 20 min walk to the mamaia beach, also there is a bus passing in the street that take to constanța.
The owner is also nice
The hotel is situated close to the Plage Modern (main beach of Constanta), very close to the Old Town (with lot of restaurants, museum, vivid atmosphere). The staff is helpful and the parking is free.
Great sky bar and perfectly placed between Mamaia and Constanta. Good transport links to the train station and the breakfast was not bad. The team at this hotel were very friendly and happy to help.
