It's an ugly city. So many buildings are old and dirty, reminding me of the old communist Yugoslavia. There are many tags everywhere. I saw some new constructions and visited houseboat restaurants on Sava, which were nice. Young people and night ambience are wonderful.

Belgrade is a place abundant in many attractions.
Belgrade is a place abundant in many attractions. It may not be a popular destination, but it is a very pleasant surprise. It is an interesting and highly valuable place, worth recommending, and in my personal opinion, very safe as well.

Not the prettiest or most exciting city I've ever been to.
Not the prettiest or most exciting city I've ever been to. The locals are friendly and I really enjoyed the traditional food. You can pretty much walk everywhere which is very handy.
Beware that nearly everyone smokes, including in cafes and restaurants. There are almost zero non-smoking locations. The inside part of the cafe at Moskva Hotel was the only place I found to sit smoke-free. Thankfully they also do great cakes there.

Belgrade is a city with many contrasts.
Belgrade is a city with many contrasts. You can find modern and historical parts of the city. There are many restaurants and cafeterias with very tasty and quality food. This cultural and culinary diversity and the additional flavor of pleasant people make this city a charming place to stay for more than 4-5 days. On top of all this, a good night's fun, so whoever likes it, go for it!

If you are interested in the history of Yugoslavia and its former main capital you must visit this city. Besides history, you can also enjoy the bohemian vibes of the city and affordable (and amazing) food and drinks.
Getting around the city with a public transportation is easy yet a way to purchase ticket seems a little bit complicated. But locals could help you on this.
The owner was a friendly, very polite and helpful Serbian guy, who carried our heavy luggage, showed us where to park (very close to the hotel). The room was very clean and comforable. The location of the hotel was very central. We should have booked a slightly more expensive room, so we could have enjoyed a hotel room on the first or second level. Unfortunately we had decided to book the cheaper room, which meant, that we got a big, clean but souterrain room. We regretted not paying a little more for a room on a higher level.
The hotel is in an excellent location! Although it is right across the street from a busy square, the sound proofing in our room was very effective. Te room was comfortable and attractive. Everyone working at the reception desk was friendly and helpful—very patient in answering all our questions about using the bus system and getting a taxi in a pinch. We had a traditional dinner at a recommended Serbian restaurant and were not disappointed. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Belgrade
By far the best, cleanest and most memorable accommodation experience in Serbia. The hosts met us at the apartment, showed us the facilities and the map of Belgrad with some recommendations. They were incredibly nice and kind! Spoke English very well. Belgrade had power failires because of a storm during our stay and they did everything to keep us updated and even organised us some matches so we could light candles. Definately coming back if we are ever in Serbia.
This hotel is new and it’s located greatly in a city center. I liked the architecture there, it got a unique Yugoslavian vibe. Another nice thing was that my room offered a cool film-like view. The staff was kind enough to early check-in us which was important for me as I was super tired from traveling on balkan train. Hotel also has a roof terrace, I guess it’s great when the weather is warm. The room was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly.
The Apartment was very cozy and warm as I travelled in winter season. It was very clean and organised. The host was also very kind and gave me tips on places to go visit. As a first time solo traveller I felt very safe in the Apartment neighbourhood, its right in city centre and close to most attractions of Belgrade. I highly recommend and I will stay here again whenever in Serbia.
I love the location, although it is not in the city center but it’s ok. I opted for something different this time other that city hotels or hostel. Im not a morning person but the view made me wake up at 4:30am just to see the sunrise along the river with all the swans & birds. The hotel itself is Belgrade’s tourist site. Shout out to the staffs who are very warm & friendly.
I stayed at the hotel for the second time, and this time due to its very close location to the stop of bus 72 connecting the airport and city center - it's only a 10 minute walk. This bus runs even at night, so it is very convenient for both late and early arrival/departure to Belgrade via the airport. In addition, all major sights of Belgrade are within walking distance.
We stay here every time we go to the airport or embassy in Belgrade. This hotel is the best value in Belgrade! The family suite is perfect for our family of 4. It's always sparkling clean and our kids (ages 3 and 1) have plenty of space to play in the room. The breakfast is nice. The staff is exceptionally kind and they always go above and beyond to make our stay perfect!
This was the absolute best Booking stay we ever had. The apartment was way beyond our expectations, the location could not be better! It's located in the very heart of the Belgrade city centre. The apartment is even prettier than in the pictures and very spacious. The host was very kind and understanding provided all the information we needed. Highly highly recommended!
The staff was incredibly helpful and service minded. Rooms were spacious and very clean. In the reception there was a huge and nicely decorated lobby where we could sit and do some hours of work and the outdoor terrace had lots of great shade from the fig three (the name of the hotel). Food was incredible too, Best hotel we stayed in during our 1 week trip to Serbia.
Spacious room, super comfy bed, very clean. Since we had a room facing the courtyard, it was also very quiet. Breakfast had more than enough options, the hotel has lovely staff, the bathroom is great. The location is amazing, everything you need is a 15 minute walk away. This is probably the best option for business trips or city breaks that you can get in Belgrade.
Fantastic location, close to everything in the old town of Belgrade.
Funky interior with a goo combination of fun and style. Beautiful rooftop bar!
Breakfast was perfect, the room was spacious enough and we managed to check in early.
Note that the hotel is at the top of a shopping center, so it might be slightly confusing to get there at first.
Hotel is in the great position between Zemun and New Belgrade. There is very fast connection with highway and main streets. Just 10min driving to Kalemegdan and Belgrade Watertower. Staff is great, friendly and hospitable which is usually for Serbia. I strongly recommend staying in this hotel if you visit Belgrade.
The fact that the apartments are only few minutes from the centre and for that kind of money, it is amazing! From there, you can go by foot to the old town, belgrade fortress, serbian parliament etc. The apartments are very spacious and look just like on the picture, everything is clean and modern. Very nice.
The hotel is very nice, parking is available in the courtyard and is under a supervision. The location is ideal if you want to reach highway or airport quickly. City center is far away. We found only one open restaurant in the area. No Uber or Bolt in Belgrade.
I've never been in the hotel like this!!! Staff is very professional and helpful. They're doing everything to make your day!! The best cocktails that I've ever had !! Very tasty dishes in the restaurant! Definitely the BEST HOTEL in Serbia!
What i absolutely loved was the staff, just so friendly and helpful. The location is very good it‘s 2 min from the city center so its a bit more quiet but still near enough. The hotel itself is nice not the best but far from worst.
The room is a 5 minute walk from the city center and really close to a bus stop. It was really clean too. The host was the best, he helped us with everything and was available 24/7. We already miss Belgrade.
a very authentic belgrade experience - you can feel the belgrade vibe. the place is in an old bourgeois building very close to the city center. everything was clean and the staff were really welcoming
